What's everybody doing against mono B? That deck is such a thrashing. Normally I win game 1, and it is a matter of them messing up game 2 or 3. Harness by Force was a good start as it can swing the game, but they are already boarding in X number of duress to stop extra planeswalker shenanigans.

For what it's worth, I play Rakdos aggro and when a Paladin hits the board I really just feel like scooping. I have pretty much zero outs against him.
Mogis mauraders.
On the topic of paladin, he's not so much a trump as an alternate win con against decks that you think will sb out removal against you(b/x midrange and other control decks). I play him in conjunction with archangel of thune. These guys are a super beating when on the feild together.

When does lightning bolt kill Emrakul? When your opponent's at three.
This poll feels ridiculous. Without an idea of what deck/context this removal is needed/used for, the entire thing is pointless.
Example: These are all sub par in living end because shriekmaw is a creature, thus it is the best black removal spell. But by contrast, liliana OTV is the best mono black removal spell in G/B/X because it has a different angle than the splash removal spells(decay and terminate).
In a deck with snapcaster, or 8 racks, the above example doesn't even apply. There is no clear best black removal spell(unlike red) even dismember isn't very good in decks that are conscious of their own life total (control builds), or decks that rely heavily on using their life as a resource(mono black midrange, is that a thing with bobs idk?).

Because you are playing Crucible of Worlds in teh main, and tolaria west, techtonic edge/Celestial Colonnade seem very important. They can ruin people with crucible out.

Can anyone think of any answers to a resolved TNN? Normally I don't have issues with it because my opponents usually struggle to 3 mana, but I'm still curious on ideas.
Curfew is really bad with delver as your only threat.

Has there been any discussion towards mistcutter Hydra(md) or gruul charm(sb) for the mono u matchup? Admittedly I have found it difficult to fight master of waves as ratchet bomb and the green fight card just don't seem very good.

It did though. Most UWR decks that ran Reckoner had both charms, although it was more of an "oops infinite life" than something they went out of their way for.
Also I don't think Burning Earth is going to be that great, we have more answers for it and the decks it sought to punish don't care. (WRB looks like it's taking Junds spot and with Obz/Baron/Whip I think the damage is negligible.)
I'm pretty sure there are the same answers to a 4 mana enchenment. Counter it, dsphere, or play agressivly and ignore it. Also, old jund had a very hard time against this card. Any new jund/good stuff decks, will not only have a harder time, but will have harsher manabases.

Turn 2 invisible stalker/turn 1 gladecover scout. I hate the deck so much how little it interacts. When I see these plays I know my match just devolved to a glorified coin flip.

Hello, I'm currently having problems making my budget Izzet Control deck work. I'd especially appreciate help making it standard, as M14 is coming up and some of the cards will be phased out.
Dnt is on the lid of maybes. Memorylapse I read a thread where a different person posted his list as midrange but you gave the good argument in pointing out it was just a slow burn Aggro deck.
I agreed but liked the general thought he was going for. You mentioned it needed to become a meta assassin. Something I can do a lot better than he could. I just want to know your thoughts on how the deck could be become such a thing I want rogue ideas note deck to add to my own.
And how is reckoner Jank he seems to have everything going for him
Reckoner is bad the same way a 3/3 for 3 with no abilities is bad. The reason why spitemare and stuffy doll see no play is because even though they have this powerful ability, its not a relivant offensive ability. Defensive creature(historically walls) aren't very good because they often do not result in you winning the game. Reckoner is a very powerful wall, but when attacking he's basically a 3/3 path/decay magnet. 3 mana is a lot in eternal formats, which is why we expect backbreaking 3 drops like GoST, Liliana, master of etherium, and pulse. Reckoner is only truly powerful when combined with jank that deals 10+ damage to a creature. That stuff is unplayable in modern.

None of these cards will phase out when m14 comes in. Also I would highly suggest dropping cancle for the stricktly better(in t2) dissapate.
