Anyone have any thoughts on this sort of list?
I was inspired by the Gemstone Caverns U/W build a saw floating around a while ago. Thought that perhaps speed was what could help in the Red Splash.
I'm up in the air on whether I want to play Hatebears or Death & Taxes in Bant, so I've been brewing both!

Been working on this Bant variant of Death and Taxes...Not sure it's going to work, but it's something I've wanted to try since Spell Queller was released.
Will try and get back to ya'll (if I remember) after my Thursday Night Modern.
Looking for any help I can get on this one. Lots of playtesting will have to happen to iron it out!
I'm considering 1-2 Smuggler's Copter to help me cycle away bad draws and useless cards (extra Vials, extra Dryad Arbors, etc etc) Not sure where I'd make cuts though.
I have an Ancestral Vision in my Graveyard.
I also have As Foretold in play at (any amount of counters).
Cast Snapcaster Mage, giving Ancestral Vision Flashback and cast it using As Foretold?
Now I know that this isn't quite to the exact taste of this thread, but I'd like some criticism, and this is just about the closest thread I can find to what I'm building (Seriously, no-one is playing ThopterSword at all). It's still somewhat Esper Draw-Go.
So just a few things to go over:
Been interested in testing Expertise cards + Ancestral Vision, and since the Sram's Expertise one doesn't fit the control shell, I thought I'd try the Yahenni's Expertise one. Wipe the board, I draw 3.
I considered playing Baral's Expertise, but I think that's what I'll test in future.
Thirst for Knowledge is there to discard spares of the combo while searching for the second piece.

What do you think about Bloodsoaked Champion? Seems like an all-star with Butcher and Copter.
You guys are right about the Snapcaster. I should put at least one in to reclaim the Cruel Ultimatum.
I like the idea of Sphinx of the Final Word, but hard to say...I'll test some.
Did you read the decklist, @Dlanze? There's a bomb tonne of removal and counter magic...I'd rather save those slots in my sideboard for actual sideboard cards. I think I'll pass on the Research // Development.
Obviously, Gearhulk cannot flashback Ancestral Vision, which is a bit of an issue. Thinking of trying to squeeze in a single Goblin Dark-Dwellers solely for that purpose.

I don't think Sprite is too tough on the mana base, but Clique might be.
Dryad Arbor pairs up so well with AEther Vial though. I've always wanted to play with that interaction. But maybe you're correct.

Sphinx of Jwar Isle and Keranos, God of Storms, because nothing says "I'll win, it might just take some time" than these guys.
Trying to basically replace Snapcaster Mage entirely. We're a late game deck, let's use cards that are good for that, like 5/6's with Flash!
