Chasm Skulker is a really cool idea with Ascendency. I would add some protection spells like Feat of Resistance or God's Willing in case your opponent wants to exile your Skulker.
Impersonator is just a Clone in limited which is always a worse pick than an actual good creature, like the Falconer.
Edit: Falconer is also a key uncommon in what is possibly the best archetype in Khans limited. Of course it is way too early to say that for sure though.
Not sure why Flamespeaker wouldn't be good? Doublestrike and trample means he benefits the most from creature augmentation and the extra two cards a turn are, well, two extra cards. Suggestions for other creatures?
Probably because Knuckleblade doesn't have trample or flying or some way to force damage through. I have too many ideas to brew with because of Khans and here's one I recently thought up:
This is a 61 card main, but it's obviously in the design phase. The countermagic option of Temur Charm means Temur doesn't have to worry about having the wrong counterspell when playing a permission game. And that permission style improves post sideboard. The coursers, anger of the gods and arc lightning and planeswalkers should provide enough incentive to crush aggro decks while perilous vault helps deal with Nylea and mistcutter dragon.
I really like the idea of Temur walkers. I would still put Knuckleblade and Polukranos in to protect your walkers and dominate the board. Not sure how many times you'll be able to cast Dig Through Time in a single game?
Hey guys, I've been looking your ideas, and I gotta say I'm pretty excited about this Tempura . Have you thought about Prophet of Kruphix? She really puts you WAY ahead your opponent, and the removal in the current meta looks weak enough to give her some space.
It seems to me there are two distinct directions you could go with Tempura: the more aggressive Rabblemaster + Knuckleblade route, or the late-game inevitability/versatility of Prophet, Courser and Chord of Calling. Very interested to see how both versions work out.
A toolbox of creatures and finishers for any given situation. Hydras have tested extremely well and I'm excited to see how they perform in the new format.
I would pick Roughrider, although typically I wouldn't first pick a 3-color card that's not a charm or a bomb rare/mythic. The difference here is that this pack is pretty bad. Alternatives are Arrow Storm and Abzan Guide. Storm doesn't feel like a strong first pick and Guide isn't as good as Roughrider.
Play 4 Shrapnel Blasts and win! The rest of the deck is built for when that doesn't quite happen. You have Servants and Drums to speed out your fat machines, Post and Hammer to battle through the long game, and Kurkesh to get cute with Land Mines, Hammer, and Post.
I like it, but it's awkward. It makes tokens, but doesn't interact with other tokens. It makes spirits, but only protects creatures that aren't spirits. Not sure where you would put this.

The idea here is to play a few buff creatures, protect them, and burn a path to victory. Massive card advantage when you drop a Spectra Ward on either a Prophetic Flamespeaker, Brimaz, King of Oreskos or Narset, Enlightened Master. Your natural enemies are board wipes so committing only one creature to the board at a time is necessary in some match-ups. Other card options are Hero of Iroas, Banishing Light, Keranos, God of Storms, Eidolon of Countless Battles (depending on your enchantment count), more burn and more cards like God's Willing.
