this deck is hilarious. its like magic fairy land such that you play rakdos, attack and dmg opp, then play creature from hand. after that, 4 chesty women enter the room one at a time while i watch the cowboys win the superbowl.
An arguably better take on rakdos is affinity creatures with sac outlets and draw with dark prophecy and the like. i saw such a build the other day but the post seems to have been deleted.
If you really want to make Ruric Thar shine, i d suggest more enchantments and less creatures. Red and Green have some really awesome enchantments to make sure that when u play a creature its gonna rock the table no matter what.
Note: these are suggestions for multi. for duel i d opt for more uncounterables like thrun and nonbasic and artifact hate blood moon and Shattering Spree respectively.
I've been playing Godo for a while myself now (my list on here isn't updated), and here are some of my thoughts:
Running cheap, aggressive creatures is great. It forces your opponent to either use their removal on them, or can cut their life points down to the point where Godo can win with just one swing (as opposed to 3 if you're going for general damage with a sword).
Scroll Rack is really terrible in mono-red. I'm not sure why you're still running it.
Blood Moon should probably be in here. I used to think it was pretty bad and just beats bad players... but it turns out that it can win plenty of games on its own. It's also really our only way of beating Doran.
Batterskull is probably the best equipment for Godo. Have you tried it?
Scroll Rack: While I agree Scroll Rack is fairly weak in the deck, i still run it because red simply doesnt have many draw cards that are useful. godo's search ability and numerous fetch lands can really make it shine. Also, digging for 4 every turn is still pretty strong, so even on its bad days it usually pulls its 2 mana cost.
Blood Moon: I ran this previously but found it typically not worth the inclusion. Supposing your opponent is running 5 colors with zero fetchlands, yes it will win you the game outright, however, an opponent with 2 or 3 colors with a modest amount of artifact mana and fetchlands can play around this with ease. the odds of you choking out a player running 2 colors is slim, and the proposed ONLY solution to doran is greatly exaggerated. I ve out muscled Doran loads of times with a strong start (NON FRENCH LIST keep in mind).
Batterskull: Many have suggested it, it should probably be included but the 5 cost means if u draw it in ur opening hand its most likely dead draw. Possibly very strong, but as a personal preference i tend to avoid high costed spells, mainly because artifact hate is very prevalent in the format.
Also, and I recommend this to every monored deck in EDH, but I'd also recommend Word of Seizing to both of you. It was quite possibly the best card in both my Norin and Slobad decks. It's Plow Under if they have a Wasteland in play. It's an uncounterable Threaten if they have a blocker you want to steal for a turn. It's a two-for-one if they have something like Qasali Pridemage and an artifact or enchantment you don't like. And it's the most fun card ever when they ramp up a planeswalker to ultimate loyalty and you activate it yourself before they get a chance. Especially if you kill it in the process.
Word of Seizing: A fun card, although not something i would consider for this deck, mainly due to a lack of sac outlets.
Zealous conscripts for oops with Kiki?
Zealous Conscripts: Playtesting. Anything that swings and ETB is definitely worth a good look. thx for suggestion.
apparently a mana drain promo will be released soon. for proof type {mana drain: prm} (without the space after the colon ) into mtgo (alt art yay)!!!!!!!!!
Thoughts about adding urabrask? Drop him turn out before Godo, if they had no dudes to block him leading up to his next turn you can always get a near guaranteed swing in.
I think i ran urabrask for a time but became dismayed with his lack of evasion. However, the deck was quite different then so I ll playtest him a bit and see how that works out. Thnks!
@ryxsyn a lot of good ideas, perhaps i ll reconsider batterskull and i ll def be playtesting ura again. Thnx guys!

Cards worth considering riding the dilu horse, berserk.
anyway this is a great list please post in the 1v1 forum as well as i have smashed many faces with it.
