Well before this thread devolves into speculator shaming and useless debate I noticed a few posters mentioned Zendikar fetch reprints were also confirmed for the block. Where is this information?
I would argue that even if it wasn't confirmed, there was a statement made about "no more half cycles" when the Temples were printed. That could be taken to mean they will use the other Large expansion at the end of the block for the Zen fetches to be reprinted as well.
I have designed a number of EDH Decks. However, because people were complaining there were just losing to "money" (I am not afraid to drop cash on powerhouse legacy/vintage cards for EDH decks), I had to build a competitive deck that is under $100. I quickly put together this Baru list. I know there are some obvious auto includes I skipped (Skyshroud Claim needs to be ordered and Avenger was left out on purpose), however currently the build is decent for $54 (USD) TCG Player, NM Cart Optimized cost (excluding basic lands). I would like some reasonable suggestions on what can fill out the remaining $46. The current list follows. I would also greatly appreciate suggestions in the format of:
OUT -> IN +/- $COST Adjustment
Nissa's Expedition -> Skyshroud Claim +$1.19
My opponent drew the card to kill me. I have a lethal back swing.

he scoops!
All he had to do was say damage and he would have won the game, because I didn't have a block that kept me alive. I just was taught never scoop and let someone kill you.
It's sexy but tasteful, incorporates the city's famous skyline, and is a treat for Merfolk fans. It was a very well attended event, and I was pleased. Better than the Havenghoul Lich playmat that replaced the controversial Goblin one earlier this year.
Also, I think the uproar was mostly from the player base... not sure, since I am not an insider
I think they've said that it was something that made sense in red before, so I'd love to see it shifted to at least a position shared between red and blue.
I see it as similar to how they shifted the pinging ability from blue (where it made no sense, other than blue is smart so it can do everything) to red, where it actually made sense.
Okay, I am not singling you out. However I am using your post as an example.
I am not sure if people don't read Wizards.com articles or just have faulty memories. While the poster I am quoting and I actually remember that they were shifting looting to red, a lot of people didn't and that's pure fail.
The shift was explained like this: Blue draws cards, red draws and discards.
This is not the same as pinging, as direct damage is red's ability alone. White, Black, and red get it as well. However it's different.
White can deal damage to attacking and blocking creatures
Black causes life loss of -x/-x
Green gets creature based removal or rarely X based spells like Hurricane that can damage all players or all flying creatures.
I am not sure who said it, so I can't attribute this to a specific article or source:
"The color pie and color bleed is as much about what a color can do, as it is about what it can't. Red doesn't get life gain, Black and blue can't remove artifacts or enchantments."
Looting in red is fine, since blue doesn't want to loot. Blue wants to draw cards/gain knowledge. Red wants to cut corners and get to straight to the meat of things.
1. the faculty of conscious and especially of deliberate action; the power of control the mind has over its own actions: the freedom of the will.
2. power of choosing one's own actions: to have a strong or a weak will.
3. the act or process of using or asserting one's choice; volition: My hands are obedient to my will.
So, the Force Of Will art is nice, I mean I like most modern card arts. I think the Time Walk is fantastic, but then I am a sucker for rich detail and color. Would I want them to pick that art for a Force Of Will reprint? NO... I think it would not be cool for the guy who wins it. It should stay special.
As for the reserve list, it is disturbing because of it's potential long term impact on Legacy. At some point all the dual lands will be purchased and people will choose between playing Rav lands, etc as subs or playing mono-colored decks. This point is a fair way off, but thankfully I think Wizards took out the problem when they revamped the reserve list. I think they can functionally reprint cards again... Meaning, a Scrubland by any other name would be just as well... I would be okay with Kangaroo Court if it did the same thing!

I am taking the usual wait and see approach. I am excited about a new Liliana, but have been for a while now. I am waiting for the 4 mana black walker to finish out the cycle.

G - Garruk & Nissa
4 CMC walkers are awesome!! A solid black one, and a non-broken (I still fail to believe that jace was actually broken, but Banned=Broken, Busted=the step before it) blue one and we could do the whole cycle in a future core set.
@Longshanks, look on the back of the box... what was the alpha-numeric code above the bar code? Your box seems to skew pretty far from the normal tracks.

Which do you feel is better in the deck?
CARD SET NUMBER IS VERY VERY OFF FOR GREEN CARDS IN AN EXPANSION THAT ISN'T ARTIFACT OR LAND HEAVY!!
The best boat you could possibly want is Mirror Entity.
Some humans are black as well... just saying.
