Even the absolute worst case where you find zero Delve cards in your top 15 cards, you're still fixing your draws in a big way for a long time. That's got to be as good as Divination, even then.
I disagree. At that point you're playing Index, which is opposite worth a card.
It feels like Abzan is flat-out the best clan to pick at the pre-release, the same way that Boros was the best option for Gatecrash.
I felt really frustrated for not picking Boros even though I didn't want to play those colours because it was just so much better than the other options. I'm wondering if anyone thinks it'll be the same situation with Azban for Khans?
Each person needs about 20 basic land (why not overestimate a little).
If eight people are drafting, you'll therefore need 160 land.
All five basic land types are going to be needed in equal number (on average).
160 / 5 = 32.
So if you've got 8 people, you'll need 32 of each type.
Now that we've seen more of the set, I have to ask about mulligans. Is it safe to keep a 2-land hand in a 3-colour format with morph? Thanks! Reading through this thread has been very helpful for me.
I did not play during Onslaught block, so I was wondering how morph affects the limited format. Obviously I'm guessing the difference between 1 and 2 direct damage is a big deal, and that 3 toughness is the benchmark for a decent creature. But what other aspects of the format are warped?
For anyone watching the first game of Andrea Mengucci vs. Nam Sung Wook today, I don't understand why Nam Sung wasn't attacking with both of his Heralds of Torment. I only caught the last few minutes of the match, but it looked like he still had plenty of blockers to leave behind.
Hey guys I'm building a full Ravnica cube, its about 470 cards and 35 of each basic land. Most of the cards are commons and uncommons but there are a few chase rares such as Dark Confidant. Should I double sleeve my cube? It is mostly going to be played within my group of friends
Oooh. Time Spiral might actually be a totally reasonable exception, considering those cards kinda retroactively belong in those blocks. I'm glad you suggested it! I'm going to go take a look right now!

Okay, thanks!

So that makes perfect sense.
Thanks!
Would someone please enlighten me? Thanks!
I did. I regret nothing.
Is it just this format that makes Sealed feel like an elaborate lottery, or has it always been this way?
You've saved the day, Fishman.
