you have a LOT of ways to destroy enchantments and artifacts, but not a single board wipe that I see. Fumigate? Rout? Martial Coup is great in Karametra because you can make X like 15.
don't play a signet in a Karametra deck
Whitemane Lion is B U S T E D in Karametra. (There are other similar cards too.)
Let's say I only have one creature that has died this turn when my Caller of the Claw resolves. However, because of shenanigans, that same creature has died 100000000 times this turn. (I'm looping a Myr Moonvessel in and out of play with an Ashnod's Altar and a Havengul Lich.)
Am I correct that I only get one bear? Or do I get 100000000?
Hey everyone, I'm brewing a Sydri, Galvanic Genius deck and I'm hoping to pick your brains for a moment. I've never really played a dedicated combo deck, so I have some questions regarding how many of each category of card I should include. I should say upfront that this deck is NOT intended to be a tier 1, win on turn 4 competitive deck. (I don't have the budget for stuff like Mana Crypt or Grim Monolith anyhow.) Instead, it's meant to be a fun, Rube Goldberg-esque tier 2 deck with a lot of different potential combos. Ideally I'd like to be able to win with four different combos in four different games.
Again, this is just supposed to be one of several combos in the deck (although stuff like KCI and Disciple play well with many of them), but how much redundancy would you ideally include? Two of each piece? Three?
My other question concerns protecting my combo(s). Of course there's Silence and Grand Abolisher. There's also slightly clunkier options like Padeem, Consul of Innovation, and Leonin Abunas. Then thirdly there's counterspells. How much of this kind of stuff would you typically include?
gives you a creature with infinite toughness. (Lightning Greaves) also works as long as you have two creatures in play.)
Hurray! OK, what can we do with that? Well, the first thing that comes to mind is attacking with said creature while Doran, the Siege Tower is in play. Here are some options for gaining infinite life:
Hey man, just wanted to let you know that Web of Inertia is misplaced in the original post (it's blue but it's listed under colorless). Also Budoka Gardener is misspelled.
Curse of Exhaustion may come out after testing, but for now I like the idea of forcing anybody playing a non-creature-oriented/combo deck to play fair.
Skull of Orm is sort of a pet card that I want to try out for its synergies with Planar Collapse and Aura of Silence; I'll cut it if it seems obviously bad when I draw it.
I'd love to throw in some planeswalkers, but unfortunately all the ones I'm thinking of are like $10+. As far a commander, I don't like that Oloro – in my play group at least – paints a huge target on you. I'll probably go with something basically arbitrary and seemingly innocuous, like Chromium.
Hey guys! As a sort of deckbuilding challenge for myself I'm building a RGRuric Thar, the Unbowed all creatures deck and a complementary WUB no creatures deck. This deck tries to shut down all creature-oriented paths to victory, winning either through turbofog and either Feldon's Cane or Elixir of Immortality, or by getting a creature on the bottom of my opponent's library and then hitting them with Tunnel Vision.
I need to cut a few non-land cards, so I'd love your advice on specific cuts, additions, or adjustments! Oh, and please ignore the lands/mana ratio; I haven't worked that out yet.
Does this combination go infinite – infinite mill or mana, that is? Thanks for taking a look!
Am I correct that I only get one bear? Or do I get 100000000?
Anyways, my first question has to do with redundancy. For example, I'm running Salvaging Station + Flayer Husk + Krark-Clan Ironworks, which generates infinite ETB triggers, infinite mana, and infinite death triggers. Combined with Disciple of the Vault or Altar of the Brood, this combo can do infinite damage or deck all opponents. (Flayer Husk can also be replaced with Origin Spellbomb, which in turn makes Ashnod's Altar a viable replacement for KCI.)

Sadly, I think you'll be waiting a looooong time for those, since Wizards doesn't seem to really support green aggro anymore.
plus any one of these

Here are some more cards that do fun things with infinite toughness:
Anyways, my questions for you estimable ladies and gentlemen are the following:
Keep up the great work!
Edit: Dead // Gone is improperly formatted, too. Reparations is misspelled (Reperations). Curse of Bloodletting has an unnecessary space.
I don't see myself casting Debt to the Deathless for X = 12+, which is why I haven't included it.
I'm going to try out Chalice of Life in place of Feldon's Cane. Seems nice and grindy.
Codex Shredder only returns one card once. I think the ceiling on Skull of Orm is quite high with repeated recursion of Planar Collapse and Aura of Silence. Open the Vaults is also a one-time-only effect which may help my opponents almost as much as me.
Island Sanctuary seems great! I'll try to give it a slot, especially since it turns out Ghostly Prison has gone up to $7. SMH.
Acquire wouldn't be good in my meta. Nobody's playing any super desirable artifact targets.
Dingus Staff: probably not good enough.
Declaration of Naught is to name dangerous commanders like my friend's Bruna, Light of Alabaster.
Vile Consumption and Armillary Sphere are coming out; good points.
Luminarch Ascension and Sigil of the Empty Throne won't work because they're essentially do-nothings with my strongest (symmetrical) creature hate: e.g. Humility and Spreading Plague.
Curse of Exhaustion may come out after testing, but for now I like the idea of forcing anybody playing a non-creature-oriented/combo deck to play fair.
Replenish is ~$15.
