I've been shadowing this thread for about a week, and finally I built a budgety version of the oloro doomsday deck for multiplayer and have to say mystic remora is really good. It costs one mana, and you drop it the turn before or the turn you combo off. If they try to aim removal at lab man you draw in response. How has the deck performed without tainted pact? Is it better to go with more mass removal or more cantrips?
Playstrionic resonator. It gives you double the untaps with derevi, double the draws with edric/bident of thassa/coastal piracy, or combos with EtB triggers.
My suggestion is holostic wisdom. It literally turns your graveyard cards into your hand cards, and with this deck's rate of drawing can be a win condition with time walk effects.
No, I have posted a sig request for other sig shops. Whoever gets to it first, will be the one to receive credit. It will take a couple days to get 20 posts. I'm that lazy, and don't see the need to talk too much. Additionally, I just want my sig created...
My statement was not directed on the amount of posts the average person has, or their reasoning for achieving them, it was merely to point out your purpose of posting, stated in this quote.
Finally I'd beat you in EDH so much you'd be able to make new top 50 card lists for this whole thread.
This. You just understated yourself, by creating a situation that would be 1 v1 which contradicts your points of EDH multiplayer. Also, beating someone in EDH isn't the object of the format according to Sheldon Menery, nor the Rules Committee. The purpose is to have fun. If your perspective of EDH Multiplayer is "beating" people, you have lost sight of what the point of the format is, and I'm suprised people haven't stopped playing with you.
The body is relevant, because it can block, and has to be killed for it, thus the loss of another card. Let's not forget interactions such as deadeye navigator, renamators, phyrexian reclamation, etc,. Acidic slime isn;t good for just being to able to kill artifacts, enchantments or lands, but the fact he's versatile, and could kill creatures in green. Terastodon comes down really late, and thus doesn't fit with your description of it as a "more efficient and lower costed spell", though he is more powerful. Woodripper only hits artifacts stomp and howl only hits one of each, tribute to the wild lets people choose what to get rid of, and none of the ones you suggest except for terastodon can hit lands.
No. Acidic Slime is NOT good in EDH Multiplayer. Small things like this is why I keep winning and why others keep losing.
Saying that is pointless. You didn't explain why it is "not good in EDH Multiplayer", nor give a card that could replace it. You clearly did not read the OP, otherwise things like pointing this out would be trivial. It's pretty clear that it is good in EDH Multiplayer for making on a list of top 30 best EDH Multiplayer Green Creatures, so obviously some people believe it is.
Clearly if you win. everyone else at the table loses. The same is true that if someone else wins, other people than you lost. This is fundamentally true for every player who plays multiplayer commander. In a 4 person game, two players other than you are guaranteed to lose (unless there is the unlikely draw).
Your other posts point to your only purpose of posting was to achieve 20 posts (a task you consider quite difficult, stating that you were lazy), to get a signature with 7 cards on it. Otherwise the large remainder of your previous posts were badgering other players, or downright insulting people and cards.
I defend for acidic slime to stay because it is always a 2 for 1. It can kill most permanent types outside of PW's and creatures, but it will either trade with removal or a creature. It was good enough to take a spot in a few edric decks even in 1 v1 due to its versatility, and I would consider it to fundamental for most green decks to play next to genesis, eternal witness, and yavimaya elder.
Sigarda would still be a chump blocker against this guy, and if anything would be a drawback, as you can't even choose to sacrifice a creature to stop the demon's ability.
As a spell or ability an opponent controls resolves, if it would force you to sacrifice a permanent, you just don't. That part of the effect does nothing. If that spell or ability gives you the option to sacrifice a permanent (as Brain Gorger's ability does), you can't take that option.
I have a deck, but its still very budgety with bad lands and such. It still tests well versus edric, but it's more of the mini ramp variant. Terminus actually tests quite well even as the only miracle. My meta is not as competitive as most, so some of my choices are kinda lax. I am looking for budget conscience improvements. I play using the multiplayer list.
The idea with the discard/madness package and flashback package is to abuse wild research to generate advantageous searches such as searching out and repeatedly spell crumpling, it might not work too well in 1 v 1, however.
Here's my list (its in color order at the moment):
Outside of decks that have a heavy dependance on their commander / tribal decks it isnt going to be that amazing. Outside of the two tuck counters I find that most commanders dont get countered all that often. If tucking your commander is totally game over though I could see it being added.
It should be noted the Cavern taps for colorless when not on creatures, and provides mana of any color for the called creature type. This makes it a good land for budget players or heavy elves builds. It seems great for decks like animar and other general dependent decks.

They have stated they don't like mean and easy infinite combos because it is anti-synergistic with building relations within their play group.
