I actually feel this version is so consistently strong that I had to post it.
It literally makes mincemeat out of any other cloudpost deck, is often a turn faster than Ad-Nauseuam/Dragonstorm, and has a lot of great matchups against combo post-board.
The worst matchup is well...any deck that runs magus of the/blood moon '
oh, aggro often goes pretty well -- people really do understimate the lifegain from glimmerposts and the combination of not running fetches/shock lands.
Did I mention that with amulet and scapeshift, this deck becomes basically like a turn 4 combo deck
-- I have been testing this very extensively, before you tell me my matchup against combo isn't good... test the freaking deck, and I've yet to lose any cloudpost matchup. Just amulet of vigor gives you an advantage over them, but the biggest thing is the GSZ for Candelabra\arbor\P-Tit... and against the blue version, you're deck just goes bigger. With plow unders post sideboard, other post decks literally have a horrendous matchup.
It really, really, really, is really really good -- Please try it for me
Edit: I will say, I have not had the chance to test this deck much against kiki-jiki / perstertwin decks... and I imagine that matchup is rough... as we only have krosan grip/beast within -- but I haven't ran much against it yet
and a lot of other decks for that matter...
It's pretty awesome
(One top-8'ed here in GA)
Here's the thing... doesn't the deck lose almost all of its reach when the wolf run gets destroyed...
It's already the most important card in the mirror... so.. yeah
