Any reason for this change?

Assuming the Junk Diver and Scarecrone are on the battlefield, the opponent plays Days of Judgment, can Junk Diver target scarecrone? (they die at the same time)

That said, I'm just curios, couldn't have Zhur been written as:
"t: add G to your mana pool. Zhur deals 1 damage to each opponent" instead of having this ability splitted in two: a mana ability and a trigger ability ???
I guess the difference is that:
- if you want to play a non-flash creature; after adding all the mana to your mana pool, you HAVE TO let Zhur's second ability resolve.. and therefore give your opponent a chance to respond before using your mana. With card like Mana Short.
Whereas for Burnwillow, you cannot respond to the life gain unless some ability triggered due to that effect. For example, if your opponent has Drogskol Reaver" target="blank">Drogskol Reaver on the battlefield.

Any time you bottom something, I can't help but feel like I just got infinite value off playing a scry land. While the effect doesn't need to be rare, it certainly is a valuable play, and combining it with a dual seems a good reason to make it rare.
I'm not disagreeing with the fact the scry is a very nice ability.
It just that these lands do not feel 'rare' for me, they feel uncommon (Yes, I know that New Benalia" target="blank">New Benalia already exist as uncommon).
As you mentioned: the value of putting something at the bottom is huge. Which is why: if these lands in order to come untapped were giving my opponent(s) the ability to scry, it would feel like a decent draw back.

I would have actually like to see the theros land be something like:
"Enter the battlefield tapped unless you let your opponent scry 1"
Or:
"Enter the battlefield tapped unless you let your opponent scry 1, if ~ enters the battlefield tapped, scry 1"
--
Even though I think scry is a strong ability, I still feel don't feel these lands should have been rare.

This is clearly way worse that doubling season....
* Doubling Season is only beneficial for you! [I admit: I didn't realize that when I first got that card...]
* Doubling Season is fun (broken?) with planeswalkers [But new people don't quite understand how it works... and it's a pain to explain each time you use it...]
* Doubling Season also works with charge counters!...
However, this one won't kill Belligerent Hatchling when he enters... or Kitchen Finks when its persist ability resolves Is the trade of worth it? ... mmm... guess

Quick question here; coz I've been more or less away from Magic this last month... Why(/When?) did Chandra Pyromancer become so expensive???
Did she got heavily played in comp decks??
I'm just curious, and despite hearing that she's the best Chandra so far; I also heard and so far agree with the statement that she's not *that* good.
Thanks for enlightening me on this.

Mmm.. Counter proof (read: hinder/spell crumble proof ...), 2/3 with invation and flash for 4 mana....
Seems way overpowered.
I understand and like that WoTC to trying to embrace a game style designed by other people; it's cool. But now, if this general is real, they break a fundamental rule!

it seems that the general consensus is to not keep the deck as it but either: to keep and improve them or at the very least grab some of the stable cards for other decks

I wouldn't say ripping it apart necessarily. The 5 main generals and many of the secondary generals see a lot of play. Obviously these decks have some staples, but not all of them. What I did was just started improving the deck on my own, switching out precon cards that I didn't like or didn't suit my playstyle, and eventually ended up with a pretty competitive deck. After a while, I scrapped it for the staples and built a couple other decks from scratch, which I enjoyed much more as they were entirely influenced from me. I did really enjoy playing Riku, though, so I went back and made a new version of him although I have yet to put him back together.
Well, this is what I meant by reaping them apart I admit, my wording was a bit too strong.
In a sense, you're in favor of not keeping them as it. But rather: either grabbing staples from them and/or improving them with your own seeds.

Back then, I ended progressively buying all 5 commander precon hoping to start playing EDH/Commander with it, but I never really did....
What I usually do with these precon decks is:
- if they are really fun to play with, I keep them as it.. (e.g: Ajani vs Nicol Bolas)
- otherwise: I tear them apart, making my own casual decks usingthese cards...
Unfortunately, I never had the chance to experience these deck as it (and maybe never will); also for a while I didn't quite enjoy EDH so I never gave it a second thought...
That was until recently...
Some told me that it was my previous EDH playgroup which was the issue of these non-fun games, when I explained that the games always ended with infinite loop, infinite turn, ... the win-co was: who's gonna pop first. Willing to try again as the format was so popular, I started building an EDH deck looking at my own collection *allowing myself some proxies*. Then I tested them on Cockatrice...
And I must say: I enjoyed these games so much that I'm now playing less and less fnm/tournaments and go there mostly hoping to find EDH players
That said, I still have the original precon as it; untouched... And each of them contain some nice goodies such as: Sol Ring, Commander Tower...
Hence the poll... are they worth keeping together as they are fun to play with? or should I just take them apart in order to start replacing some of my proxies?
Thanks,
Kandjar
