I find it amusing that they're doing this now. Because I've been playing "Modern Magic" for years now. I absolutely loved the new card frames, looked a lot less dusty and old.
So after a few sets I managed to try and use as less old cards as possible. I only make an exception sometimes for really good or funny cards like Priest of Titania. If this becomes a FNM format I'm much more inclined to come, because I can use my own casual decks. (I don't care about winning, although would like it :P)

Well my friend who taught ME Magic didn't understand the rules very good either.
He used to beat my face in with a very strong "combo".
He played with Yavimaya Scion (4/4 protection from artifacts) and then proceeded to stuff the big treefolk inside a Fodder Cannon (artifact with 4, t, sac creature: deal 4 damage to target creature)
This seemed hilarious because the tree would fly to the air, squashing any (un?)suspecting soldiers underneath it. And the tree would then brush the dust from it's leaves and would walk casually back to the cannon the be cannonballed again.

Well, there are probably a lot of kitchen players who have amassed a reasonable amount of cards over the years who don't buy a whole lot of each set and neither does their little playgroup.
I'm one of those. So if I open this one from a booster, I have only a very very slight chance to encounter something with wither or infect and this is a very nice uncommon for me.

I love the Myr. They add colored mana acceleration to colors who don't have much mana acceleration. I use them a LOT in my blue decks. Just awesome acceleration. Especially if play with the dominus of fealty and his friends! You can't use colorless acceleration for them.
Ofcourse, I'm just a kitchen table player. But I like them nonetheless.

I've voted Phyrexia, just for flavour reasons. Loved the phyrexian megastory.
But the truth is, Mirrodin is my favourite set ever, so it's a bit up to the cards as well.

Hey guys, I read about a lot of deckideas and decklists here and on this forum they have a nifty feature when someone posts a decklist. You can click on the button to save the deck to a file. The only problem is, it uses the old octgn1 .xml files instead of the newer .o8d extension.
I was wondering, who could be asked to change it? Because almost no one actually uses o1 anymore and the new o8d doesn't change soon I think.

However, the Netherlands are GMT+1, so for GMT+0 it'll be at 18:00.
True, but only Great Britain, Ireland and Iceland (unless I'm mistaking) are in the GMT+0 zone, the rest of Europe is GMT+1. My intention was to say that most of the European people will have acces to it at 19:00. Well, the people in Great Britain and the rest will have acces even "sooner" relatively seen. No matter how you look at it, everybody has to wait 4 more hours at this moment. Can't wait to try it out!
Edit: I noticed that Portugal is also GMT+0 So you're "lucky"

9 a.m. where? It's 08:03 here in the Netherlands
EDIT: it's now 09:10 here and the game is to be released in about 10 hours according to the Steam shop. So for Western Europe it's release is at 19:00 I guess.
Ps, still no sign of a redemption code.. But I heard from a befriended shop employee that he has the Nissa's.
So Europe (or at least the Netherlands) have the Nissa promotion.
Indeed, although you rarely ever notice anything from our queen and her family except for Queensday.
Anyway, the cards seem alright now, but extra abilities might make them a lot better. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Nice catch! And it seems like the white one has the glimmervoid behind him!

T: Add R to your mana pool
This doesn't come in to play tapped, but can't be tapped for mana the turn it comes into play and almost everything can destroy it.
