I was trying to reply to you and goodship01, since I didn't see any mention of these two cards that you normally run. I was not responding to a deleted post when I wrote my message. It looks like goodship01's list doesn't have those cards, so I posted. Just trying to help.

what, in my opinion, with wotc is that they aren't doing enough creatively
i mean take a look at the bicolour gods for example
bicolour gods being able to wield two different colours is suppose to be powerful than the monocolour ones
the gods should have been given more abilities, like 3 abilities more than the mono coloured ones
but instead they only grant one ability each
suddenly all the hype and expectation fell and i was quite disappointed
it wasn't just the gods that are disappointed there are other examples as well

how on earth does Flamewreathed Phoenix deserve to be mythic? Chandra's could return herself due to damage? why can't the flamewreathed do the same when it dies? why do you have to add a condition so that the opponent can always be beneficial?
Alright. So big news (kind of). After finally obtaining a decently costed Thoughtseize (thanks Wizards for taking down the Premiere and Daily Events, getting players to flood the market with cards as they try to dump their accounts!) I have constructed one more Kaalia decklist, of course for 1v1, that I dub "Kaalia of Heavy Disruption". I have been working on this for a few months now, but with my 'Seize I finally feel like I can post it here, as I am especially proud of how it has been handling itself.
And soon enough, whenever the price of Hero's Downfall gets to a reasonable level on Magic Online (here's hoping), it will replace Go for the Throat. Since Comm2013 isn't out until December on the client, I haven't slotted those other two cards in yet - but Unexpectedly Absent can likely replace Orzhov Charm, while Angel of Finality will likely...be a meta choice, if you see lots of graveyard decks (for me anyway, because I am already main decking Rakdos Charm, but I realize I put more priority to this card than most people following this thread).

In one game he just mind twist me and my hand is discarded. My threats like Dark tutelage, Linvala and Grand abolisher eats the counter spells he has. I brought down his hand but future sight and yawgmoth's will saved his day. He brought back his staff of nin on me.
Edric is even worse. can't race for sure.
I start with a hand full of creatures. I want to draw into my control spells but all i draw are creatures.

This is just my opinion (and for that very reason could be completely wrong) but obviously Development had to have done some extensive testing to only have her start at 2 loyalty counters. Kiora must have been doing some serious work in the FFL, as it just seems like the kind of card that could have been at 3 or even 4 counters without an issue. The rest of the set has yet to be spoiled, so keep an eye out, as if decks start to rely more and more on one finisher (ie; AEtherling) then this kid will be absolutely bonkers.

Jedi_Knight's Big Boros deck 4-0'd a Daily just two days ago. It's exceptional vs the current meta. Chain Master of Waves or Desecration Demon to the rocks and your problems disappear. If I don't cave in and play Colossal Gruul at the SCG Open on Saturday, I'm playing this.
I have a bad time against Mono-B devotion in a side event at a Grand Prix
3 of the 6 rounds I face has Mono-B devotion. This is especially the case when in 1 game I kept a hand of 2 Chain but the other player had both thoughtseize and duress up. You can't race against that ....
Sydri looks interesting. I wouldn't replace Sharuum but I would play it in Sharuum. The artwork is amazing and I would love a foil of it. Am I the only person who doesn't feel guilty about playing Sharuum?

The list in question is just basically made to crush mono red (and fast aggro in general), which is always overpresented in modo (because the deck is always dirt cheap to build). The modo rdw phenomenon is extra relevant at the moment because people are still lacking Theros cards for other decks (set has been online just a few days).
At our prerelease I picked black, my rare was an Agent or Fate.
I also noticed a relatively high amount of cards that would enable heroic in that pack, including the cards from the other colors. As its red card it had an Akroan Crusader. So maybe the seeded packs are also constructed with a particular strategy in mind.
I've heard of no one having a Thoughtseize in his seeded pack.
