This card is amazing. Once again reveillark is happy. Finks is safe until they make one that persists twice. That card is too much value to go anywhere.

I haven't played Hammer of Bogardan in a while but this has a better cost to return and a more interesting window to do it in. Probably too unsplashable and expensive for smaller cubes but I am curious to hear thoughts.
This is another one that I've read a few times now and I'm just like, 'Eh, seems fine.' This doesn't look like a 360 staple to me at all. 3/3 with menace is decent, but what's the added damage output going to be against a deck that doesn't focus on tokens? I think I like Sin Prodder more than this and we've not ran him for a while.
I'm with you. I've been burnt quite a few times by 3 power 3 drops in red with situational abilities. It looks really solid for a 540 maybe but I don't see it breaking into smaller lists. Testing might prove otherwise but I doubt it.
I don't see the 2 power as a disadvantage as you will only ever attack with it once and its not made to be an offensive card. You are basically trying to get this ship out of the dock so it can become an engine in the later game. Still, I think its a lot of set up to get to an expensive late game engine.
Journeyer's Kite did A LOT of work in the early versions of my cube but was pushed out for being too slow and a weak form of card advantage. This is just as slow but with quite the pay off. I can see testing this in larger cubes and it potentially trickling in to medium sized lists as well.
While the conclusion of the article could be correct, I wasn't a fan of the analysis.

I have a pet peeve when people mention interactions between cards that don't remotely belong in the same deck together.
Sure, mutagenic growth maybe cubebable, but in no reality would I ever want to run giant mutagenic growth and this card in the same deck.
Same with anthems etc.
IE Hornet queen synergies with hellrider, but the interaction is irrelevant.
