Plus, the "Draft Matters" cards have a specific slot that replaces basic lands, according to the wiki. It's not like opening a Lore Seeker prevents you from potentially pulling a Dack Fayden.
Could you link to a source from where the information about replacing lands come from?
I also had trouble finding that earlier:

The draft-specific cards are in the land slot, according to this feature article (See the Let's Draft section).
From the article:

Without doubt, it was most fun trying to work in the space of the draft-influencing cards. After all, that was what really sets this product apart from the rest.
Ultimately, we arrived at having one draft-influencing card per pack. These cards replaced the basic land slot.

I wrote an article about a mini-cube called a "square". In it I highlighted a RtR Square I had finished. Here's an excerpt:
I first started experimenting with this concept during M13 but solidified a build during Return to Ravnica Block and by Pro Tour Gatecrash in Montreal I had a pretty good limited style Square that I would take with me to most events and play pretty regularly in the hotel or at the airport. My goal was to make every guild draftable but in the end that was not attainable due to the sheer number of gold cards, so instead I started looking at three color combinations and it started to feel a lot like how Dragon’s Maze would end up. Cards that unsurprisingly shined in this environment were the Keyrunes and Guildgates. We even discovered an unintentional 4 or 5 color draft strategy filled with removal and Keyrunes we called “Keyrune Control”. Through playtesting the Square with other friends I adapted it to this and made it possible to beat that strategy if you saw it coming, with either fast aggro or more pure control strategies. Despite that, we didn’t nerf Keyrune Control and it is still a popular and powerful archetype in the RtR Block Square.

So a land that is rare and literally useless out of draft?
The cards that impact drafting take up the land slot, you'll still get a regular rare.

The mechanic for GDS2 was Gold Counters, there were like Poison Counters and could only be used as colorless mana. I'm not saying there won't be more Gold Token making cards but it's unrelated to that mechanic except in name and perhaps inspiration.

There's something I don't understand in this link.
They say that the prerelease pack of BOG will contain 1 seeded booster and 5 BOG boosters.
But isn't a small expansion (165 cards) supposed to be constructed with the big one ?
I'm not sure if they changed it because I didn't read it that carefully before but it now says:
The Prerelease Pack contains a Spindown Life Counter, one of five Hero Cards, one of five activity cards, three Theros Boosters, two Born of the God boosters, and a seeded booster featuring cards appropriate for that player's chosen path—including one of the five Prerelease promo cards.

There are important differences to note for Battle the Horde. This deck is a single-player challenge. The rules for Battle the Horde deck are different than for Face the Hydra, and are not convertible to a multiplayer experience. Fortunately, in battling the minotaur horde, players can use up to three Hero Cards from any of the five earlier Quests. Defeating the Horde means they've earned another Hero Card, which they can use against the Journey into Nyx Game Day Challenge Deck.

I disagree. What MaRo is saying in those two answers is that all cards with Bestow in this block will be creatures with power and toughness and abilities that are the same as they grant.
So you can have 2/2 Lifelink Creatures that grants +2/+2 and Lifelink but you can't have a 2/2 Lifelink Creature that grants +1/+1 and Lifelink.
You could certainly have a 2/2 Creature that gave +2/+2 and has "You control enchanted creature." under his restrictions for the keyword.
However, flavorfully it seems like it couldn't happen because all the Bestow Creatures are flavored as gifts from the gods.

Also:
"If the majority of the chosen heroes manage to defeat the Hydra (yeah, right) then the rest of the community can expect to reap the rewards as well."
So if 3 out of those 5 lucky ones defeat Wizards R&D member all players should get the Slayer Avatar as well as all participants of PEs

Actually the decks are for sale. Each store was able to order 6 to 12 extra Hydra decks. The MSRP was $11.99, I believe.
