they don't have 40 mogg fanatics in their deck, ok?
and u have 40 Spriggan in ur deck? well u see its all about luck and i hate it couse i dont have luck forgot when i won the dice roll last time not to mention hundreds of mulligans
Celiphid is awful against everything but cruel and only on turn 2. I'd invest in some cryptics, jace, or for budget options, try O-ring or another beater.
Anyways, I've tested Spriggan somewhat, I gotta say, it works. It really does. It's bad in about all the situations where Infiltrator is bad, but I've won a couple games atleast a turn earlier than i would with infiltrator.
Example: I was in the queue and dropped a spriggan turn 2 against 5C, to which I got some ridicule along the lines of "HAHAHAHA NOOOB!!!". Then I played rafiq and put him to 10. He then conceded with no answer (likely wrath in hand) and I swept the match following a second win. Infiltrator there would have put him to 14 and would take 3 more hits to win.
EDIT: Ok, Spriggan is officially sick. The best part: i can swing with a huge trampling, double striker without playing a spell first, meaning i can negate/cryptic/bant charm tricks and still put a hurting on. He's now won several games just because he smashes for 2 more points than the infiltrator for each attack. And that spread increases with rafiq doubling up. You guys really need to give him a spin.
hmm mby its luck but if u think about it its rly hard to protect him he rly is mog food and any other removal can kill him so i say it is good somtimes but somtimes he is fresh meat
Based on what lists ?
It's quite easy to say that one deck beats another, but i have never lost to R/W with B/W tokens my record is about 7/0 (i have to admit that four of them were FNM's, but the others were 40K sanctioned games)
The matchup isn't about card advantage. it's about creature advantage and a damage race. And it is quite hard to deal damage to an experienced B/W player with a R/W build. Siege gang commander doesn't stick around long enough and you really dont care about the rest. Ajani can (at most) do a 6 point lifeswing or take care of on of our Ajani's.
let say ur right its dmg race now tell me honestly which deck is faster
rw the only reason i say rw couse rw gives u more card advantige then any other deck lets have and example spectral gives u 3 cretures, ranger gives u 3 card in 1, commander is just sick and revelark gets back a lot of usefull stuff from the grave before conflux fea and 5cc where hard matches but now we have bane fire and volcanic fallout so those matchups are easyer now oh and if u where thinking rw vs bw token matchap rw is the winner here for sure expecualy with conflux now
but what about child of *** aka child of alara i think its ok in sb vs aggro based deck or planewalkers mby even md its one of those cards that say u need to kill it but u have to pay the price for it just too bad it dosnt say when it leaves play
Shambling Remains and Blightning take the deck into a more control oriented strategy and this deck will barely benefit from the CA generated from Blightning imo although its worth testing. Rb burn is promising.
4 Volcanic Fallout I run because the 3 out of 5 match ups I will go against have alot of small creatures and against control . Control or Aggro this card is never a dead card because at the very least its an expensive but uncounterable shock.
Banefire is just a good finisher if I can ever get this deck to 6 mana otherwise its just a hyped up Blaze. SBed in against Faeries or 5cc.
Magma Spray doesn't hit players which is my real concern. Depends on the meta and the persistence of persist creatures.
I wouldn't mind moving a Shard Volley out totally. Too much means more mulligans.
[card]
Lash Out[/card] could be the substitute for Magma Jet (it has Scry 1).
Darksteel Colossus is the reason i started playing magic not coz his abilitis coz of of his art i think its the most badass art ever printed

for example i like path to exile more couse it can kill realm razor
if u want an answer to fog effects try everlasting torment
yeah that looks good the only bad thing about it is that its 5 mana :(...
