And spending your whole turn attacking a planewalker, be it Jace or usually gideon, means you are not attacking your opponent, and basically giving your opponent a time warp. If you dont get rid of the PW, you are forced to do it again.

but it is indeed annoying to have to devote a turn to have all your creatures target one PW so that they cant just chump and use it again the next turn...
Mainly the three big players are Blade of the bloodchief, bloodthrone vampire and mitotic slime which can turn the vamp into a 29/29 the turn the ooze is played if unblocked! other boosts such as overwhelming stampede and recursionable creatures such as bloodghasts and reassembling skeleton add to the additional graveyard counters
since Hellcarver Demon reads exile the top 6 cards from your library, you may cast any number of nonland cards from them, does this mean the lands stay in exile?
Here is my second attempt at an EDH deck, the first was Mayael but i found that it just wasn't fun to play since you usually get targeted with her, so instead i switched to Rhys.
you cant use rhys the exiled because he breaks his own rules? since his mana cost is G but he has a black symbol? you could get told off by players for using this
hallowed burial? its a $2 board wipe except instead of destroying everything it puts all creatures on the bottom of their owners library
i definitely reccomend it for getting rid of indestructible things
if a creature such as rampaging baloths gets equipped with a grappling hook and it forces a creature to block it and is able to kill it with the "first strike" of the two does it still deal the regular damage from the second hit directly to the player?
also what if you have a rampaging baloth a 6/6 and its blocked by and indestructible 2/2 would you end up hitting for 4 to the player or would it be 0 since you cant actually deal lethal damage
Go to the end of the thread and you'll see that discussion has lead to non-crypt decks. A deck with the looter package won a GPT and is lested towards the end of the forum. That deck is similar to yours but better because it runs fetches and Sedraxis Alchemist
fetchs are not really necessary since you can just end up milling them out as well as you end up thinning your deck more and killing yourself at the same time...
I tried fiddling with the Crypt-less build for a more aggro-centric model. It's actually pretty quick and fun to play, and binning Vengevines still isn't too tough.
try this ive been testing it lately and its pretty effective against next lvl bant and such
that deck is crypt...this is not
its also extremely slow and reliant on you not getting spreading seas'd, not have your hedron crabs killed, and thought gorger is bad...nuff said
