I think personally blue is the correct colour to splash for the deck. I went a different direction than most people and I like where the deck is going.
I personally think, Wall of Omens aside, that this deck would hate any creatures main. I was not a fan of Mesa Enchantress as it just made removal live.
Actually, this is incorrect. Brimaz, King of Oreskos puts the token into play attacking and Path of Bravery triggers when attackers are declared so you will get only 1 life. On next turn, assuming you still have the token and decide to attack with it, you will get one life out of it.
You sir are CORRECT! This issue was the same with the windbrisk heights + hero of bladehold misconception.
I've cut Kiora because with 25 lands she wasn't working out (there is a draft list I've posted somewhere where the idea was at first). More often than not it was just a worse divination or jace. Every single time I dropped a jace over Kiora on t3 and every single time I would rather cast Advent to start the beats. Unravel is better in my opinion than revoke because of a meta with scry. Instant speed makes a difference and screws up draws.
I can see why -1 Supreme Verdict (I feel you're right!), but I simply don't dare at a start of an unknown metagame.
One of the reasons I play Azorius > Selesnya charm is because I actually use the lifegain to outrace. But you could be right that Selesnya Charm could be mainboard. Honestly, Selesnya Charm has been impressing me out of the board.
I've already cut down to 2 dissolve. But I see the point of going back to 3. I upped the last breaths to 3 because I wanted to see them more. I agree with cutting the 3rd Fated for an Aetherling (that was already done).
At the link is what I have been playing. Kiora lost her spot after testing. I wasn't pleased with her. Also I play more with the tokens. I'm glad to see that Bant is showing up again. In whatever form or whatever.
Strange, she is one of my favorite cards in the deck, and I have recently been using her to -1 mostly so I can go big on a Revelations. She seems pretty integral for the deck from the games I have had. Mainly because you can start stuffing the board with walkers and if you can get 2 out of one combination or another, you are in a good spot. I really like the critical mass it gives you for doing that.
I have seen some lists not running her though, and some not running a full set. I want to see her every game, even if it is just for a -1.
This is my current list. I love it so far. Syncopate does wonders in helping with the GR Monsters match I was having so I shoved a 4th one in the board. Probably a little overboard with that one, I am not sure yet. If you manage to see some way to deal with Packrat, the Mono Black match is pretty manageable. I have noticed it generally has to get to a point where you can go infinite with Rev and Elixir before you get a concession, but that is not as long of a game as it may seem sometimes. I can generally do it in about 15 minutes on average. Sometimes faster sometimes slower.
There are reasons why I cut Kiora from the deck. She is a trap. She is really not that great if you think about it. If you are using her for the -1, fine but more often than not in my experience it was just draw a card no extra land drop. That was 90% of the case as she was a worse divination and definitely a worse Jace every single time. She just didn't do much at all. I was really hoping to keep playing her but honestly, she was the first to go. There are definitely convenient and powerful plays you can do with her, but they come up so rarely she didn't merit being in my list.
If you've seen my list I took a slightly different approach than most people here. I definitely started like the pseudo UW control but moved more to flashing in tokens. This explains why I only run 3 verdicts main. I won't cut the Caryatids because it's either those or Mana Bloom and blocking seems good.
I haven't seen or heard about anyone playing Fated Intervention. The work this card has done for me is just too good.
Here is the list for those who were wondering and were too lazy to click the link.

The only thing I am not sure about are the lands. I know 25 is right but the right combination of lands still feels kinda off. Enjoy, critique, try it!
Doesn't seem too bad. Seems like you're more on the instant-speed token creation EOT plan than the hard control route. Interested to see how Fated Intervention plays out. Also, what's the reasoning behind not running the full amount of Revelations if that's your plan?
Oh that is easy to answer. Before I get to fire off the 3rd let alone the 4th Revelation, the match is usually already over. Also while building the deck I just couldn't figure out how to keep the full set in. I ended up cutting 2 for the Fated Intervention
I tested the deck and I actually liked it a lot. If anything, I think I can cut a verdict for an extra intervention or relevation because I did find myself with tokens on the field while I REALLY needed to wipe. This deck if you pay attention really resembles last seasons Bant. Caryatid = Farseek , Advent = Thragtusk , Fated = Garruk. I really wanted the 4th Jace in there but I ended up cutting it for the 2nd Kiora which I loved!
Kiora's -1 followed by a scry land felt great!
Edit: I think an elixir of immortality actually might be good in this list. Refills my threats.
How is it better than Detention Sphere and why would you want a 5th card that does the same thing as Detention Sphere. Usually cards that give your opponent an option are bad in competative magic.
I never said Detention Sphere should be removed or anything. Soul Tithe I bring in against the mirror. It forces my opponent to tap out. The beauty of Soul Tithe is that is shuffles back when Elixer goes off too.
You are right though. Usually giving your opponent a choice isn't good. In this case, the more expensive the card, the better Soul Tithe gets. I am surprised with it and thought I'd share the idea. I wouldn't mention it if I didn't think it was worth checking out.
I'm going to throw in a card I have been testing lately with great results. Have any of you tried Soul Tithe ?
I'm not really gonna explain the card as it should explain itself. Just wondering if anyone has tested it and was looking for some extra feedback. Personally I love the card these days.
4 Suppression Field
4 Ghostly Prison
4 Detention Sphere
4 Spreading Seas
4 Idyllic Tutor
4 Leyline of Sanctity
4 Sigil of the Empty Throne
1 Nevermore
4 Runed Halo
4 Hallowed Fountain
4 Glacial Fortress
3 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
2 Island

Messing around with sideboard.
Obviously the blue is for Detention Sphere and Spreading Seas. Wall of omens does work!
