Rebuff the Whicked is bad and too situational. Ajani has no synergy with the deck, unless you plan gaining a small amount of life for 5 mana or making a token that will be chumped forever against BB. I'd rather run Feudkiller's Verdict... OH. And Martyr of Sands too.
With Garrak, you may be able to drop the Evolution Charms. While they are super useful, Garrak also acts as our dual mana accell/trample giver. They can go maybe. Honestly I think a deck based aorund triggering a combo very quickly won't have the mana for doomgape or enough creatures to push it off from killing our Devoted Druid or Quillspike. I think you should drop him.
I don't run the Charms. Also, Doomgape is only a one-of, I'd have to drop atleast 2 more things... Also, my build isn't focused on comboing asap. It's a GB Ramp that uses the combo as a secondary win condition, while abusing the interactions between Quillspike + Redcap or Deity or Doomgape + Bridge, etc.

Uh, because I don't want to kill my guys, too? Was this a serious question? Cloudthresher kills all their guys, minus the Mistbind, and none of mine, so why would I want to play a card for the same amount of mana that also kills all of my guys, minus the Demigod and Ram-Gang potentially. That just seems like a really bad idea to me.
Hmm, Redcap would come back from persist, Urchins would draw you cards, Fanatic would sac itself for more damage. Only the liege would really suffer. I only asked because it seems a bit hard to splash double green in a RB deck, so Sulf. Blast would be a more viable option... But if it works for you... (oh, it also knocks Merfolk to the ground. Just a plus).

Cloudthresher adds that little bit of hate for Fae that gives me an edge. Also, I only want to play him evoked about 95% of the time, so 2GG isn't hard at all.
By your logic, every black deck should run BtQ / Diabolic Tutor. There's a reason why Rock, Doran, Faeries and Elves don't run them. And if you say "but this is a combo deck", I'll repeat: it's not, it's ramp.

2 cards doesn't make a color especially powerfull as is.
Did tarmogoyf allow loads of mono-G competitive decks to spawn all over the place?
Nope, not loads. Not even a single one. None, nicht, nada, rien.
It only made a lot of decks splash green.
And you have to admit that archetypes like mono-R burn, or mono-R sligh/aggro, even if not top decks, are a lot better than any mono-G deck you could build nowdays...
edit: woo! 500th post! auto-congratz! o^_^o
I think it's more like Green decks splashing Red/White/Black.

Yes, you and the other couple hundred people that have thought the very same idea. So far, 100 Life or 100 Mana Symbols for Chroma are everyone's fan favorite "win the game" conditions.
On top of that, we don't need a worse Test of Endurance, and I would be utterly pissed to have to count up to 100 mana symbols. Imagine how long would it take...
NOXIOUS HATCHLING 3B/G (U)
Creature - Elemental
Noxious Hatchling comes into play with four -1/-1 counters on it.
Wither
Whenever you play a black spell, remove a -1/-1 counter from NH
Whenever you play a green spell, remove a -1/-1 counter from NH

124/180 Nils Hamm
HAG HEDGE-MAGE 2B/G (U)
Creature - Hag Shaman
When HHM comes into play, if you control two or more swamps, you may have target player discard a card.
When HHM comes into play, if you control two or more forests, you may put target card in your graveyard on top of your library

DESECRATOR HAG 2 B/G B/G (C)
Creature - Hag
When DH comes into play, return to your hand the creature card in your graveyard with the highest power. If two or more cards are tied for highest power, you chose one of them. Loose earth is not a burial but an appetizer.

With today's preview card from MaRo, that puts us at 10 of the 12 instances of "Token" and 1 of the 2 instances of "Tokens". I can't wait to see what the other two cards will be.
Also, thanks to MaRo's article, it is confirmed that there are only the two mechanics (like we expected different at this point). Since they have been doing about 5 tips & tricks per set, I'd expect that there will be about 3, give or take, that are "combo" or similar tips and tricks cards.
There's one that is like "Fun Formats - Two-Headed Giant". I forgot where I saw this...
