My first deck was an awful U/R deck that my friend built me for $10; this was around the time Odyssey had come out. It took me about a month to get my first win with it.
Amazingly, I never took the deck apart. I think I last played it two years ago in a casual game (which I won as no one focused on me). Here's the deck list:
I have a Rebecca Guay EDH deck and it can finally be completed for real. I had a few of her APAC plains, but that was it. The RG lands are the best thing about Commander 2016 for me.
I thought about making a Rebecca Guay deck, but it would pretty much be terrible. The only strategy I could devise was Asmira, Holy Avenger lifegain, where the wincons were things like FTV Serra Angel and Planeswalker's Favor. What about yours?
It's terrible, but beautiful.
My win-con is being no threat the whole game, getting ignored, and hoping to somehow sweep in at the end with a questionably good creature.

I was in 7th grade and while I may not have grasped the implications, I did understand the grave situation going on. I was in science class when I first heard about the event(s); our principal came on the speakers to break the news. My next class was history and at that point, the towers had already collapsed. We watched the news throughout that class and I know it sounds cliche, but our teacher said something like, "Remember where you are now because it will be different from now on." I fully understood those words a few years later.
After school, my friends and I were playing football in a field behind our homes. We lived (and still live) ~10 miles from DC and my most vivid memory is the sheer noise from all the jet fighters circling the sky (which was beautifully clear). It was constant, if not a bit unnerving, as if war was near.
On a side note, an 18 year-old today entering the "War on Terror" was 5 when the September 11 attacks occurred. Just some food for thought.
My everyday car is a 2013 Mazda 6. My toy car is 2006 BMW M3. I also have a 1974 Saab Sonett that I inherited from my dad (who collected cars), but I only drive it on special occasions because it's not easy to maintain.
Additionally, food and gas spending can significantly increase when you have a family member in the hospital and/or in need of rehabilitation. That's not something medical insurance covers, so it's nice when people help out in that regards.
It's sad to read a tragedy like this befall such a young life, but I wish her the very best heading forward.
Just wanted to chime in on this so that people might understand the context of what is going on here.
Copyright law as we know it does not exist in China. Things get copied, distributed, and sold all the time here as fakes. Yes, often it is to save money. However, two other factors to consider are that most of the people here can't afford goods like these, but more importantly, all sorts of stuff gets copied and it isn't even considered wrong in the first place. Copying is in fact considered a requirement to a degree in education, and is considered a homage to the original source -- in many cases, that original source is not explicitly acknowledged but rather implicitly "understood." If lots of people end up copying your work, to a degree it's good because that means you're getting famous.
I teach writing at a Chinese university, and this is a problem all the time with my students. They copy sentences, diagrams, and figures from the lab manual all they time, and think it is in fact their responsibility to do so, because it is the "right" way to learn things. Bit by bit I have to make them realize their own interpretation and ideas are important, manuals and textbooks are not an absolute authority they must copy, and that copyright law exists in other countries because ideas are valuable, and can be stolen.
Finally, I ask them how they would like it if one of their classmates took their lab report and ended up getting a high grade for their work. That helps a bit. Number grades mean a LOT to the students as a measurement of achievement, reputation, and self-esteem.
When I was an adjunct at a university here in the states, I had a Chinese exchange student who plagiarized an entire essay from various sources. When I questioned him about it, he genuinely didn't consider it wrong and explained how this practice was normal back home. This was a senior level class too.
That said, good to hear the quality fakes have stopped being produced...for now.
I think she plans to sell it outside of Kickstarter at her art events (which don't really include MTG events anymore), but not enough that it'll be particularly easy to find. She does link some of her books to Amazon, so maybe she'll put out a few there.
In the bottom left corner, in tiny letters, the copyright says "Wizards of the Coast." Does anyone know where (or if) this art was used? I know it's not on a card, so is it in a comic, MTGO, etc.?

Against white and green, Reign of Terror and Virtue's Ruin are available.
