what else is hide/seek good against? you'd only side it in vs r/g tron, and it's not that good vs tron since you still have to beat karns and wurmcoils, and it's not good vs u/w tron either
also there's bribery, and Gather Specimens as anti tron cards, those cards are also good vs gifts decks
But then, they would immediatly use karn to kill it.
But idk, hide and seek might be good in a developed meta, as most lists just run 1 karn
Huh, I actually read the apprentice as a familiar and didn't really pay attention to it. Can't really see comboing with it; there aren't any comes into play effects that are worth giving up your draw phase that I can think of. It's pretty cute with evoked mulldrifter, but that's still 2UU to draw one card. In a casual deck that'll work as a fun card advantage engine, but a serious deck will run you over while you're doing that.
Does anyone think the apprentice engine works? Or is it just too cute? I thought it could be something for the late game with Chitteribg rats, to lock down storm and people from drawing, Mulldrifter to draw an extra card each turn, and trinket to get a lot of cogs.
Recently, I saw a friends causual deck. There was a card I had heard a lot about, but it never really impressed me. Then I got to play with the card and instantly fell in love with it.

"Rain of Embers" 1R Sorcery Rain of Embers deals 2 damage to each creature and each player. Target Opponent puts 2 0/1 Colorless Mud creatures into play. <-Actually I might put this into my cube...
The Gangerous Zombie idea looks interesting, but the rain of embers seems a little too complex for my tastes. Could try it out.
