In a more fair deck this is worse than Ledger Shredder.
HOWEVER, if you really abuse this, you would run it along side of Madness enablers and card draw like Burning Inquiry, discard stuff like Hollow One, Bloodghast, Blazing Rootwalla, spells like Lava Dart, then if your 1 mana spells all draw 3 , this becomes quite huge, potentially 10 power turn 3, that hits like a truck, it even works with bauble eot of your opponent to get the extra draw, cycling of street wraith, and with all that stuff, add an Inti, Seneschal of the Sun to fuel that further ; i could see this hit for 20+ with a double strike spell and setups to get the draws for free from baubles/cycling , kinda like a combo deck just like the prowess decks already play out.
So i think this is much more of a build-around card for decks that really go hard on the draw-looter effects.
If this is reasonable cheap just snatch them up, they either work really nicely and this might just be the next Ledger Shredder in terms of spiking in price (if it starts really high, then thats a bummer).
But men, cards with that much text should NEVER be textless its completely stupid.
Could easily be full-art with printed text on it, they did it for some promos and it looks just better, plays better and there is no damn reason to commit this crime.
Most of the Imprint cards dont target the card in exile, but Dino DNA does.
Panoptic Mirror for example just says "a card exiled with" without target and you could response to its trigger and exile something in response to still get it, which leads to the question, if the mirror is destroyed before the activated ability resolves, still exiles something, does the trigger ability get to find it as a card exiled with Panoptic Mirror ?
Isochron Scepter also has no target, so destroying it in response still gives you the copy to cast ?
For the Dino DNA its a bit different, as it has a target:
So if its destroyed or otherwise removed in response to its 6 mana ability, will the target still be the exiled card with Dino DNA ? (or will the card now just be regularly exiled and so become an invalid target?)
If the card leaves the exile, it should certainly be a invalid target as its not longer in the same zone?
----
Any guess why WotC uses a target at all on the card here ? Why not use the template without a target like all the other imprint cards do ? (Just trying to understand whats the point of it at all, or if its somehow necessary to the cards functionality)
Magic is heavily monetized, people made money of it and the biggest buyers of the past where resellers themselves.
For DnD you cant really resell most of the stuff for heavy profit, lots of people pirate the books and never pay anything for the game, so its heavily under-monetized and they are aware of it.
Currently the DnD Beyond online stuff is something they make quite a bank on and they keep on monetizing it more and more. They tried with the collectable minis especially with 4th edition, but that wasnt received too well.
DnD is actually hard to monetize as people dont need any of the stuff to play the game and people already make their own campaigns and new classes, its all free online ... so spending money on DnD is a hard ask, but some people still buy all original stuff.
For Magic the collectable aspect is a huge deal. People can proxy cards and play all they want, but enough people still want to have the real cards to play in tournaments and in stores with lots more people and there is an actual culture that dislikes proxies , while some communities like cEDH actively promote proxies (but thats far smaller, people would rather build budget decks than to proxy really expensive cards).
For a lot of people Magic is just a weekly routine, a major part of their life that they cant just go away and ignore. A lot of Magic creators online are also parasitic money leeches, its not like they provide content for free, they have donations, subscriptions and what not themselves, even OnlyFans ... Magic is all about spending money, and increasingly so, in every aspect of it, there is basically no limit how much you can spend on the game.
I hope the alternate art version of here is not as ugly ... (just like the Kaldheim one was awful, but the full art was nice).
Effect is strong, especially with hexproof, the only way this really dies is due to combat damage (or very few mass removal that kills planeswalkers).
So if you can stabilize with blockers, not really much that will happen and you just bleed the opponent out.
7 mana is still an awful lot, so hard to justify this in any constructed format as the cost is absolutely not competitive with todays undercosted threats.
Are you forced to choose a creature in a graveyard instead ?
Or does the Aura just go to the grave as it is not attached to her (and nothing in that regards) ?
If you have Ratchet, Field Medic in play and you get several times lifelink from multiple creatures you have (say 10 lifelink creatures in total), does it trigger 10 times ?
And then you get to convert it once into the backside (and get an artifact back tapped), and the other 9 triggers will then convert it back to the front ? (or does anything prevent that, as the front trigger does not have the "once a turn" restriction the backside has).
So every time it converts from the front to the back, you still have a trigger for it to convert back and forth, or does the "When you do" part also work to trigger a return an artifact when it goes from the backside to the front in that case ? (as they are still waiting to resolve)
In that example, the backside would never trigger as no artifact goes to the graveyard.
Does this work or anything prevent it from converting multiple times from its front side triggers ?

Ugly as hell, simply make yourself proxy cards for your Commander kitchen table.
Anybody else should never play these in a competitive setting, especially not foils (and these cards are completely just Commander).
