John Doe needs a Wurmcoil. The store owner is selling them for $15. But John Smith has one for trade. He trades his Wurmcoil for a Bladehold that the store owner sells for $20. That's $35 in income that the store owner lost. Now, multiply that by the 30 or so people that play at the LGS and you can see how much money he loses in an evening.
Really, you have done a longitudinal study to prove that images of violence against women by men do not make it more likely that some men will commit such acts?
My guess would be that it's unprovable either way whether there is a connection.
Since there is zero cost to the game to expend a tiny bit of effort on giving artists specifications to avoid pictures of men strangling women etc., why not do that in future?
I cannot believe how absurd your argument is.
Have you done a longitudinal study to prove that images of violence against men by men do not make it more likely that some men will commit such acts? What about women against men? What about violence in general? What about games depicting any violence at all? Have you done a study to prove that games depicting violence (like MTG) do not make it more likely that violence occurs?
No?
By your logic, you should feel as strongly against everything that depicts any sort of immoral behaviour in any context or no context as you do with this picture. Then why do you not?

I've erased my post about 6 times by now trying to figure out a way to word it that won't earn me an infraction....
When a miniature player gives me grief about playing Magic I typically remind them of exactly where they stand in the pecking order of "nerdy" games... The best was when my girlfriend happened to stop by before FNM one week. She heard the biggest stereotypical d&d player (draw your own conclusions...) mouthing off about magic. She walked over to him, extended her hand, then shook his:
Him: what was that for?
Her: charity
Him: what the <bleep> is that supposed to mean?
Her: I figured I'd do you the favor and let you touch a woman once in your life...it'll probably be your only chance.

They should have made this instant given the cost. As a sorcery, I don't see how this can see play. Miracle is too inconsistent and If you are hardcasting this, you are paying 5 for a 4/4, 7 for 2, 9 for 3, etc. Not really worth it unless you are going for an infinite mana combo.
White sun is still better as a finisher since you can cast at eot, untap, and win.

Can someone please post a decklist which flat-out hoses delver? My meta is full of em. I'm guessing cheap sweepers like Slagstorm and Whipflare would be helpful here.

I have no idea what to think of this card. At all. What is his purpose? Control? Burn? Constant draw engine? Fights for the 2-drop slot in RDW?
Still, 2 mana for a constant draw engine is crazy. I have the feeling if you got to choose what to discard, this'd be a crazy-as-hell 2cc planeswalker.
I'll need to do some deckbrewing involving this guy.
2 mana for a "constant draw engine" is not "crazy" by any means; Merfolk Looter does it better with a less restrictive mana cost. Because, surely, no one would play this card in RDW.

Might be workable in Burning Vengeance but Faithless Looting would be better most of the time, since it digs more and lets you choose what you keep. His -4 ability is largely irrelevant due to the speed of the current meta. -6 is also irrelevant because it requires Tibalt to stay on the board undisrupted for 4 entire turns. That won't be easy to accomplish since he's a red 2-drop with no means of protecting himself.

I got another baseless guess
UWW
Legendary creature - Angel
Flash
When ~this~ enter the battlefield or attack, exile target non-angel permanent and return under its owner control
3/3
Doesn't seem plausible. It is basically a better copy of Restoration Angel except with a slightly more restrictive mana cost. (It also needs flying.)

Anyway, maybe she's something like Vexing Devil: 3/3 flying for W, etb if opponent chooses to sac, you gain 5 life. Which would make her pretty much useless except in SB's to combat straight burn decks (which I do not see happening.)

Is it ridiculous to imagine that this might see play in a non-Tempered Steel deck, though? Think about pairing this card with Moorland Haunt, Lingering Souls, Sorin, or Garruk. If your threat base is planeswalkers that make tokens and this card, you're almost completely wrath-proof. The fact that it will never block for you might be a problem in some games, though. It still should bear some testing.
Moorland Haunt + no creatures aside, this card is too inconsistent to make the cut. Both Blade Splicer and Midnight Haunting are better since they benefit from Intangible Virtue and they don't require you to make a token every turn to attack.
This card won't even see competitive play at 2 mana, much less 3.

Champion of the Parish's got a huge sword but he's only a 1/1.
