I am not sure what is more ridiculous thinking this is some kinda of conspiracy against women by CFB or stiring up gender drama whenever possible. You have no facts on what happened, for all you know any of the women they asked turned them down. Or maybe they are all busy or under contract with other companies. Jumping right to sexism clearly best though.
I will say whenever I have played with new players to the format, they all seem surprised that tuck actually works and puts the general into the deck. And disappointed. I agree with the above poster. It does not add much to the format, and takes away a lot.
If I had a klug altered commander I am not sure that I would ever not have a deck made for it. He does sweet work, I may have to get something done by him at some point. I just am having trouble settling on a commander I like enough to do it.
Tuck encourages people to build decks that aren't linchpinned around a single card.
Which some people will argue is the point of a commander and the format. Otherwise we could just to 100 card highlander. Right know there is a power struggle between more and more tuck cards being print vs powerful commanders. As long as they print both things will likely stay as they are. But if they print so many tuck cards that commanders become worthless I can see a rule change someday.
My group actually use to play this way. I am all for building a deck around the commander and it is really unfair to red/white/boros as they will never see the general again in most cases. But with all of the new super powerful commanders in the last few years we have started allowing tuck again. There are good arguments for both sides imo. And really depends on your play group. If people are playing slower more theme and fun decks, tuck really sucks and limits creativity and certain colors. But for a more competitive meta I think it is totally a necessary evil of the game.
Honestly if the same player repeatedly tries to be a Kingmaker without every trying to win. I just attack them first and until they are dead. I use the same tactic against chaos or group hug decks as well.
The issue with Kingmakers for me is they are playing the game with a different end goal, which throws off the whole thing. The game works when everyone's goal is to win. But when someone plays with a different goal. Be it Group Hug, Chaos, or Kingmaking it really can wreck the game. I played a game with a friend once that was borrowing a deck. Was not really invested in playing and would do thinks like Blue Sun a different player. Or cast Time warp targeting the front runner. It was really annoying. And then he didn't understand when I would just target him early in the games after that. But if he is not playing to win, I am going to kill him first, same as I would a chaos or group hug deck.

How does that help against hinder in a white deck?
Tuck encourages people to just play good stuff highlander.
Funny he misregistered and had a one of blue slight of mind in his white weenie deck he could not cast.
