There is a dispute process for that. The funds are not released to the seller until the buyer accepts the trade or a dispute is resolved in the seller's favor. The obligations for sellers and buyers are outlined and are very clear and precise. Dispute will look into all pieces of evidence, including messages between the two parties, scans and photos, previous history etc. CS dos not provide insurance (because unlike that other site we can not print "pints" and drop them from a helicopter). We may offer insurance in the future when we gather more statistics from the disputes. Sellers are encouraged to use shipping insurance when the value of the package is considerable.
Hi guys,
I'm tdb2 on Reddit and I'm one of the founders of CS. I'm also a long time salvation user. Used to hang out here a lot before I started sinking all my time into CS.
I understand your concerns. All of them are valid. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
I just want to say that I have personally been working 80 hour weeks (40 day job + 40 CS) for the last 8 months. My name and address is public record as a director of Cardsphere Inc., a Canadian federal corporation. I am 34, married with 2 kids. Not really a portrait of a scammer, eh? CS project was born out of frustration with that other project, and the desire to show that better is possible.

I played a 5 round tourney this week with my BW list. I went 4-1. Wins against: (dark?) Zoo, burn, D&T, UWR control. Loss to UWR midrange (geists have a tendency to sneak under the bridge). Zoo was the toughest matchup. D&T and burn were the easiest. I'm thinking about cutting timely reinforcements from the side.
Pack rat never won me a game that day, but just the presence of it forced several opponents to keep removal in the main just for it.
All comparisons to grave titan are pointless. It's a 4CMC instant, people! Instant! Titan is a 6CMC sorcery that makes 2 bodies. One body eats a path and that's the end of the story. That is if it does not eat a counter on the way in. For 3 you currently get 2x 1/1 flying spirits at instant in white. That's it. Maybe you could get 3 spirits for 4 at instant in white (if WotC ever feels generous and prints it). Think about it: how many bodies you can get for 4 at instant? The answer with empty the pits is: a lot. It's one of the cards that's deceptively bad on the surface. In reality it's going to be bonkers in (U)B shell.
Do not dismiss Empty The Pits. It's a great finisher for Bx control strategies. Getting 5+ 2/2s at instant speed is nothing to sneeze at. Urborg, ToY and discard are there to support it.
Round 1: 0-0-1
Draw against UWR kiki-angel-twin. He was not playing counters, but full twin package, angels, and lots of burn. G1 I won easily. G2 I locked him with the bridge and extracted his artifact removal and bolts. He had angels on the board and I could not attack with tokens. He managed to sandbag cards with twin on wall so I had no outs. He burned me out with helixes and snapcasters eventually. No G3. In retrospect I should have consided with enough time left in the round for G3 because I feel I was favored in this match-up.
Round 2: 1-0-1
Win against RWB burn running bump, boros charm, eidolon. G1 was close with me racking him and him in toopdeck mode. G2 he opened with a goblin guide and managed to drop eidolon later on. I stalled with a timely, then went all in on pack rat (pack rat ability does not trigger eidolon). No G3.
Round 3: 2-0-1
Win against UWR midrange running geist and angels. G1 Lingering souls do the job. So good against control. G2 he drops a geist t3 and I can't empty my hand fast enough. I lack BB for lilly to answer geist! I have plains, mutavault, swamp on the board. G3 I lock with a bridge, he burns me. I have 2 racks and 2 afflictions on the borad, but he is sandbagging and I don't get enough discard for a while. Then I drop a lilly and some lingering souls. He has to act. At some point he drops thundermaw to wipe my spirit tokens, but that triggers my board for an extra 8 damage. He draws a card and concedes at 2 life.
Round 4: 2-1-1
Loss against melira pod. G1 he topdecks a pod t3 and plays it after I discard him t1 nd t2! It was downhill from there. G2 I side out bridges for hate and decide to lean heavily on rat if I can. He has no pod and I discard his early plays. At some point I hold on to a zealous persecution and have 6 spirits on the board with 2 open for a zealous. I pass, he plays pontiff. I zealous in response, he chords for a seer and pontiffs me again. :-( His board is unimpressive after zealous, but so is mine. I proceed to topdeck 4 lands in a row after that and die.
Conclusion:
I liked how the deck played overall. Lingering souls are very good in a lot of matchups, they work great with bridge, lilly, pack rat. My singleton plains should have been a godless shrine. White opens great sideboard options in general, not saying that my sideboard is not a mess. Is it worth the splash? I don't know. I will continue testing next week.
Has anybody figured out how to beat merfolk? I have not. With affinity at least we can pack hurkyl's recall (and snap it back). Merfolk is the absolute worst matchup of this deck.
Problem with Jace + Elixir without Maniac is that 90% of the time you have to rely on elixir to win. There are not enough turns to Jace the opponent twice. Maniac instead of elixir is a faster win.
Objectively, I did not do well (1:2:1), but subjectively it was all right. I had tons of play mistakes that costed me games. Both losses should have been draws, at least. Anyways, my impression:
* Snapcasters and Swan Songs are a valid wincon, fast enough before you deck yourself.
* This is a draw-go control deck in the first 6 turns.
* Exhaustion with snapcasters is good.
* I'm on the fence with boomerangs, remands, cryptic commands. Maybe it was just the matchups I had.
* I missed Serum visions (or any sort of dig).
* Gigadrowse is Swan Song's and Exhaustion's best friend.
* A mutavault instead of one Mikokoro?
* No bad hands except double Mikokoro. No miracles drawn out of order.
The whole idea of cutting temporal mastery needs to be entertained IMO. With mastery gone, you no longer need to worry much about setting up your miracles (read: no telling time). The open slots could be used for snapcasters and stall. Plus you have less dead weight in your initial hand. However, how does it affect the combo chain? How many times do we have to pass? Do we have to have two draw engines to go off with this build (in 12-walk version I go off reliable on one draw engine)?
I was thinking about swan song acting like a win condition for the deck. You can turn excess serum visions and gigadrowse copies into birds on takeoff and have a clock. Obviously it doubles as protection. In builds with snapcaster it could be even better.
