Sorry for all the questions, but we've been playing and a lot of question arises, someone played sigil of the nayan gods and it allows a creature to gain +1/+1 depending on how much creatures he controls, if he loses creatures, does the +1/+1 counters also decrease, or does it remain at the point of when it was summoned.
Also, when exactly can the instant to power up to +5/+3 be applied? It was used during my blocking phase, after I assigned blockers, can it be applied at that time?
If I have a 10/10 and someone attacks me with 3 1/1 creatures, can I block all three of them with my 10/10? Or can it only block one creature?
Also, If someone chooses to power up their monster with an instant giving it +5/+3, than I play snakeform, is that monster now a 1/1 creature, or does it keep it's +5/+3 bonus?
My friend says that they are the same thing, and when I use my negate it can't be used to stop creature summons like my remove soul (the old card, not the new one says counter summon)
Thanks a lot for the help!
Also you suggested eventide, well I bought the superabundance green/blue deck from that as well, so I have every card in that also at my discretion.
The problem with helping you with this deck is its really just a hodgepodge of green and blue spells. If you tell us what direction you want to take it we can better help you make a more cohesive deck.
If you want to be more aggro try adding more mana rampers like llanowar elves, and rampant growth so you can cast spells like kalonian behemoth faster.
Honestly though if you just want a more themed deck from the get go buy a m10 intro pack. It comes with a 40 card deck so you can add more cards to fit your needs and playstyle. They are also specilaly designed for new players like yourself.
Ok well I have both snakeforms, and counterspells. This deck actually consists of cards from both the blue m10 deck and green m10 deck, and some other cards I got in boosters...
ok, this deck is all over the place (which is common for beginers) you have control cards and agro cards but your agro cards suck. ditch Vizzerdrix, scaled wurm, spined wurm and jump they wont help as much as other cards would. if you want to keep agro in your deck then you should play llanowar elves, birds of paradise and the such and other great cards for an agro/control deck are things like: jace beleren, shorecrasher mimic, nulltread gargantuan, slippery bogle, dream fracture, overbeing of myth, lorescale coatl and favor of the overbeing.
hope this advise helps you (and dont play a bunch of just one card, you want to keep your decks consistent)
I actually have most of the cards you are suggesting, but I don't really understand how much of them would be of benefit, they were just cards I took out of my deck from the get go.
The best suggestion all around. I know you want to play with your cards, but since you don't know where you wanna take it, it's hard to help.
You need to go back to basic, and precons (intro packs) help you to learn that, realize card interactions.
So go for intro packs, then after some improvement on it, and some gameplays, you can take back to your cards with some more experience from what you wanna take from it.
Well like I said, i bought both the green and blue decks, and this is a combination of cards from the two + booster cards.
I really think the games I win are won primarily by countering my opponents spells and summons, and getting my big monsters out quickly... So really that's my goal I want small monster to bring me mana, so I can get the big guns out, whilst having spells to keep my opponents from building before I can.
Also, i'd like to know if you can suggest any cards such as Thorn Elemental, that can deal good damage directly to the player.
just read my post. try crap out. play with your cards rather than worrying about what to play with!
Well I do, and I like the cards I have now, but I really want to get this deck to be able to play competitively with people other than the 3 kids in my neighborhood.

I have a couple shorecrasher mimics, I don't see whats so great about them?
Konami.
