Attended the edh league today, it went great. I recommend anyone who is in the area to come thru every Thursday. The environment is awesome and the level of play is great as well.
Playing all of my favorite angels in my Raiza deck. Fetching rebels from my lin-sivvi deck like I used to back when it was a cool thing to do many years back.
I think I'll look into BDG for EDH. I frequently go to Superstars, probably about once or twice a month for T2. I'll report about the EDH turnout a BDG since I'm off on Thursdays.
I'm just introducing myself, I have been lurking for quite sometime now and finally decided to join MTGS. I've been playing magic since Urza's block, took a break after Judgment was released and got back into it since the beginning of the Zendikar block. I recently fell in love with EDH and mostly play T2 see sig for details on what decks I play. The shop I use to go to in Concord closed about 4 months ago and I've been wondering from shop to shop. Does anyone know a good shop around the Concord area? Don't mind driving to Danville or Dublin as long as the group of players are strong. Let me know and maybe we'll meet up and play some EDH or T2. L8er.

I second Lin-Sivvi, Defiant Hero. She is a very unique general with her flexibility. She can be both aggro or control, however the problem with mono colored edh decks is that you can get boned by someone who is playing Iona, Shield of Emeria. So make sure you can answer her like Duplicant.
Having played T2 for the better part of last year. Built a jank Lin-Sivvi edh deck to played it against all of my edh friends. Got wrecked. Disassembled the Lin-Sivvi deck. Hated EDH, then I started to put some thought into my deck and soon after loved it again. Playing a combination of old and new cards is just plain fun to me. Granted it will be the closest thing to vintage I will be playin for a while.
