And yes, they need to make a R, 1/2 Minotaur with Tribute 1. The alternative cost could be something akin to deal 1 damage to target creature or player. This way, it's usually going to be a 1/2 unless the opponent has their own X/1, like a mana elf, that they want to protect.
I was thinking about something like this. They could effectively print some kind of vexing devil variant with tribute but with a smaller burn and the dude stays around if they take the damage.
5. Bleach if you remove all the filler, I guess.
4. Gurren Lagann (I've been too lazy to finish the whole thing though)
3. FLCL
2. FMA: Brotherhood
1. A Certain Scientific Railgun
I haven't really watched too much anime to really even make a top five list, but from what I've seen here's basically how much I enjoyed each.
If all other Auras attached to the enchanted creature stop enchanting it, Daybreak Coronet will be attached to an illegal permanent and will be put into its owner's graveyard.
Meaning yes, if Rancor and Daybreak Coronet are the only enchantments on that creature and Rancor falls off, Daybreak Coronet will fall off too.
So I get buffs all around, and for 2 mana all creatures I played this turn get haste, or if combat isn't going my way somehow, I blink them all out after blockers and no one dies. I'm sure there are other ways to use it, but those were the most evident to me.
I control a Damia, Sage of Stone and my opponent controls a Fatespinner. Am I allowed to choose to skip my draw step from Fatespinner even though I already am from Damia?
Yes. The shock kills the Captain before combat damage is even dealt. Since the Captain is gone, Geist is back to a 2/2 when you assign the combat damage to it. Since you deal 2 damage to what is now a 2/2, that creature will die.
If the targeted instant or sorcery card already has flashback, you may use either flashback ability to cast it from your graveyard.
You cannot cast it twice, because the spell is exiled after the first cast. It also goes on the stack immediately after you cast it for flashback, so it still isn't in your graveyard then either.
Yes, Undying still triggers for every non-human creature that died on your side from the board-wipe, barring any +1/+1 counters already on them and Mikaeus himself.

EDIT: That's pretty much the closest you're going to get to something like this unfortunately.
Could make the cost a color and then add some color specific ability.

Armadillo cloak does not give lifelink and and therefore the life gain stacks, these do not.
Edit: Nath'd
