I ran it in my Ruhan of the Fomori 1 v 1 deck. It was based around eliminating blockers and killing with General damage. Otherwise it doesn't do enough for me. I would much rather spend one more mana and use Echoing Truth.

And if they don't run enchantment removal. And if you can overextend. And if you don't have to worry about spot removal. I just don't see it. I'd be much more inclined to use Dragon Mantle.
I was far from enthusiastic in my suggestion. Just the fact that Godo has an innate multiple attack phase ability means that the effect will trigger more then once.
I don't think I will run it honestly, I was just trying to find a reasonable use for the card in EDH.

Another "bad card doesn't fit into any existing deck". Perhaps he requires different deck? This guy surely has potential to mill fast, in a deck built around him.
If I want to mill in UB I'll use Oona, Queen of the Fae. I don't like filling my opponents graveyards overmuch.
Boring design. Easier ways to mill in EDH.

I dislike hexproof as well, and think shroud should be utilized more than it is. My least favorite generals are those that do the same thing every game. Some of the usual suspects:
1. Seems like you are too attached to your board state. A good healthy game of commander has multiple wraths as sometimes everything just needs to die.
Also, if you are unable to recover when the board is wrathed you are in trouble; if you don't play them other people will.
3. Making flavor based decisions is fine, but it is silly to complain about your opponents' strategies if you refuse to play perfectly reasonable answers to them.
6 mana is very reasonable for what Eye of Doom does, and should be fine unless you are playing ultra-competitively.
1- Depends on the deck, some are board dependent, most aren't.
2- Oblivion Ring can be played in any deck? (It also targets)
3- I am complaining about Hexproof, I am not complaining about my opponents utilizing Hexproof. Do you see the difference? I think putting Hexproof on a multitude of legendary creatures was a bad decision.
I didn't say 6 was unreasonable just it is slow, particularly if you have to tutor for it. I certainly didn't dismiss the card.

The ones with built in Hexproof. At least Shroud effected the person playing the deck. Now I am forced to run Glaring Spotlight in decks that don't have enough sweep effects.
I don't want to run super narrow cards like Glaring Spotlight.

I actually ran it and it's brother in my Sekki, Seasons' Guide deck. Got a kill or two off of them and it became a running joke at the table that they were target #1 when they hit the table.

Between being an enchantment and potentially a creature being indestructible isn't going to help much in my meta.

Scry is great but the casting cost is pretty limiting.

I have used it in 60 decks but never EDH. I agree that Zendruu would be a good fit.

I think six in the last few years is too many. If you look at lists of generals newer ones tend to be more common.
In my small group we have Uril, Geist and Sigarda. That is enough that I see Hexproof generals every time I sit down.

Martyr cycle claims an exception.
Martyr of Sands
Martyr of Ashes
Martyr of Frost
Martyr of Bones
Martyr of Spores
I bumped up Frost because of creature type.

1-Because the deck I was running was heavily creature based.
2-I am running colors without a lot of sweepers.
3-Doesn't fit theme of deck.
And yes Eye of Doom is another answer, albeit one that costs 6 manna to use.
