I can tag along. I have over 100 casual decks, half of them being Tribal decks, and always like to play with new people. My schedule is very flexible, I can play over spelltable after 6 PM ET on weekdays or anytime on saturdays when I don't have my kids, which is every other week.

I think they actually messed up the tokens. The Spirit should be a 2/2 without flying from Ugin's +1. I don't even see a card that produce 1/1 colorless spirit with flying...

I'm happy to hear Training Grounds is getting reprinted in a set with so few cards and even duplicates in the boosters. It it drops to an attainable price.
I litterally just bought one last week. Well, s**t happens!

I bought a card lot and I don't know what the previous owner went through in his life, but the cards really stink (they actually smell like a mix of cigarette, weed and cat litter).
I switched the cards into new boxes and laid them open in a well-vented area. Any other trick I should try to make them less stinky?

As I control both my commander and the damage multiplying effet, I can stack them the way I choose. So I stack the tripling and the +2 damage, the latter resolving first (my bolt is now doing 5 damages) and then triple the damage (my bolt is now doing 15 damages).
Since I dealt 14 excess noncombat damage to the 1/1, Toralf triggers, allowing me to target another 1/1. What happens at this point?
From what I understand, as Toralf, God of Fury is a red source I control, it would triggers both Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, and Fiery Emancipation, making it (14+2)x3 damages (48), which would allow me to rinse and repeat on another 1/1 for (47+2)x3 and so on. Is that as brutal as I think it is?

This would feel exactly like that time where Buffalo Sabres fans sent Zemgus Girgensons to the NHL All Star game. Or even that time where it was John Scott. They both didn't belong there, just as MtG doesn't need to become The Good, the Bad and the Ugly...
I know some players will like it, just like some players liked to get a plane where Pirates and Dinosaurs roamed the "land", but I will definitely stay away from any of these products if they ever see the light of day.

Boo!
This is only a year old, at least give it a chance to hold some value for a while.
It’s like they got totally sick of this game being even somewhat viable as an investment.
It is actually 3 years old...
Also, if you view MtG purely as an investment, you are part of the cancer that plagues the game. I do personnly own some really expensive stuff, and I do play them. I did not "invest", I'm actually a long-time player and have a hard time parting with my stuff. But I'd definitely prefer these cards to be widely available to the players so they could actually PLAY them than having a few collectors with deep pockets hoarding them (looking at Rudy and his Bazaar of Baghdads here...) in grading cases or stock them triple-sleeved in binders.
There are lots of nice reprints in this deck. I was actually looking for a Calculating Lich, this should help make it less scarce and hopefully cheaper.

I would go this route:
20 Lands
2 Rishadan Port
2 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
Enchantments (25)
4 Contaminated Ground
4 Pooling Venom
4 Psychic Venom
3 Propaganda
3 Rhystic Study
3 Tectonic Instability
2 Citadel of Pain
2 Copy Enchantment
3 Mana Web
Instants (4)
4 Mana Leak
Sorceries (4)
4 Damnation
If you feel comfortable playing 22 lands, I would add a third Citadel of Pain and Copy Enchantment

Technically wrong. It was an Uncommon back in Alliances ;-)
OG Mirrodin standard would like a chat with you ;-)
Damn... Should have held on those extra Maze's End a bit longer... Auto-include in any Gate stratgey.
Damn! Still hoping for a Jund-colored Ooze. Think I won't get it anytime soon. Looks more Simic/Sultai aligned to me...
I guess reading cards carefully is key...
Thanks anyway!
