The video was made for a fairly reasonable purpose. There is a stigma around first trimester abortion that isn't true. It's an extremely safe procedure, takes only a few minutes, and doesn't require cutting anyone open.
For the purpose it it was meant to serve, I think it was well done.

Three things are in the works right now. One, either GZ or his lawyer lied to the cops (who has more motivation to lie about the gun?). Two, they didn't search his car, so saying "he didn't have a gun" is an assumption. Three, his soon to be ex wife's ipad has video footage of what went down and the police are trying to retrieve the video after GZ smashed the device during the altercation.

One of my good friends, a girl, has started announcing to both me and my friends that we are not in a relationship, but "when we're 30 years old and single we're going to get married". That seems like something I should stay away from doesn't it? I wouldn't mind being in a relationship with her NOW, but if that's her attitude I probably shouldn't encourage it right? Especially seeing as though I don't mind just being friends.
And then at a similar time she has started asking me to do stuff with her that would seem overtly romantic, and now I don't know how to take it aha. For example, my birthday is this weekend and she asked me if I want to goto the Carols by Candlelight with her in the city. I asked her who else was coming, and her response was simply: "Me :)". I haven't replied yet.
Also, the other day she "decided for me" that this New Year's Eve we're taking a train up the coast together, watching a football (soccer) match (I'm a football fanatic), watching the fireworks on the beach together and then going to one of her friend's parties that she "got me invited to".
I'm not sure how to handle this, it seems very precarious and to be honest - I'm at the point where I just don't want things to end badly, resulting in any unnecessary stress.

Tailored dress shirts. I've gotten to a point that I can't really wear off the rack shirts. My neck & bust are too big and my midsection too small for any of that stuff. And the first time I put on a shirt tailored to me (which wasn't crazy expensive btw)...oh...oh goodness. Heavenly.

First dates aren't awkward. People make first dates awkward. Start off there. I went on a first date Tuesday and it wasn't awkward at all. Prob going on one tonight, same thing. I'm looking forward to it.
It's a mind set.
You put your best foot forward and you try to be honest, but you end up setting your date, your prospective romantic partner, for disappointment.
Then don't do that. I dress nicely on dates because I dress nicely all the time. I hold doors all the time. You have to act like yourself. A first date is NOT a job interview. It should be fun. If it's not then you need to loosen up, or it's just not a good match.
Remember, most people are just as nervious as you are. So try to just..not be. Fake it. After a few minutes, you'll find even fake confidence is better than none.
When it comes to the date itself, there's so much pressure on choosing a place, an activity, clothing, and topics of discussion. Then, there's drawing lines or boundaries.
Bull****. You are thinking waaaaaaaay too hard. Listen, a woman wants you to make her laugh, and she wants you to be nice. ANYONE can learn how to make people laugh. It's pretty damn easy if you pay attention and give it a little effort (Google). I make fun of myself a lot, and that works wonders.
The boundries are clear for the most part. I don't ever try to kiss on the first date unless the date was a wild success. A hug and a big smile is all. After that, well, every girl is different. But for my money, I wait on making that move.

I love talking about politics and religion. If my date doesn't, then that's the last date we'll go on. As long as you frame the discussion correctly, and you aren't antagonistic, no topic is off limits. One of my fav subjects on a first date is sex. There's sooooo much funny stuff about sex.
Tuesday we talked about religion (she Roman Catholic, I’m an Atheist, but I dig Jesus), politics (how dumb Americans are, she’s from Poland), sex, family, kids. It was a long engaging conversational date. I even broke my own rule and went for the kiss which landed on the cheek :/ …but we’re going out again, so all good!
Clothes: Decent jeans (I love American Eagle), black leather loafers, any kind of shirt that looks like you bought it in the last year. Belt, hair, shave, teeth, ect. General hygiene. Sometimes I'll go into a store (AE), find a girl working there, and have her build me a new outfit. You can grab a number while you're at it!

This is quite difficult for me to talk about. I've been smoking for three years, the last two of those about half a pack a day. After having pneumonia nine months ago, I quit smoking for about two months. However, after those two months, I suddenly had a huge urge to have a cigarette again. To my shame, I bought a pack, thinking: one cigarette, how bad can it be? The results of this are pretty predictable.
A few months later I had another issue (allergies related), which made me decide that this time, I should do it properly. I used nicotine patches and, though with some issues, I quit smoking. Three months later I again had a relapse. I've been smoking again for a couple of weeks now. I haven't had the heart to tell friends and family about it thus far.
I want to quit smoking, I really do. At the moment, I hate myself whenever I light one up. However, after a few weeks of non-smoking, the urge gets to me again and I start thinking to myself: why did I quit again?
I was hoping some of you have similar experiences and have some advice on how to deal with this.
CHANTIX. If you have medical insurance it will cost you about 40$ a month.
There are some side effects, but the experience I had was like this:
I kept smoking when I started taking it. After not more than about 7-10 days smoking will be repugnant. You won't be able to keep smoking. Took me 7 days, took another friend 10. It works.
I got weird dreams, upset stomach now and again, and a degradation of the sense of taste. But it was worth it!

Santa Claus exists! He just hasn't given me any parents in the past 20 years or so, but I know he exists!
How do you know he hasn't? The presents he gives at a certain point become mostly indistinguishable from something as simple as good fortune. I believe St. Nick is the chief party responsible for seeing that good deeds are rewarded…and bad deeds punished…
St Nick obviously can't keep bringing you presents. He knows there will come a day when each child have to stop believing in him so they can fulfill their rites of passage and begin the transition to adulthood. But the childhood presents DO serve a purpose. They reinforce the idea that St Nick is loving and kind. He will be loving and kind to anyone that lives life with a good heart, and good deeds.
But there are those of us that know the truth! Santa IS real. And he DOES give presents, and he definitely DOES have a naughty list! If your faith in Santa is strong enough, you can see through the veil. You can see that he never gave presents just one day a year. He gives presents every day; most people just don’t know it.
The only reason you don't believe he still gives presents is because you have lost your ability to see. Don’t be alarmed, it happens to most people. And that’s fine. Unlike some other so called “Gods”, Santa doesn’t care that believe in him. Some of the best people in the world don’t believe in him (and yet are still rewarded by him!). This is because he only cares about how you live your life!

I do hope the OP does not think if he reduces religious believe to something in the mind that he is proven it false. Even if this is true religion could very easily still be true.
No one is going to claim to be able to disprove "religion" (I assume you mean the metaphysical claims of the Bible). That's impossible.

I know that if I were in a place where I was going to kill myself, I would want someone else to step in and stop me, get me to a hospital, and figure out what's going on, and why I'm acting like this.
It's a gut feeling. I know that anyone wants to commit suicide is mentally ill. And I don't believe letting the mentally ill hurt themselves is an admirable trait. It's called compassion.
(Obviously there are situations where the person is in horrible pain and going to die anyway, that's completely different)

This is debate. That being the case, explain how this has anything to do with explaining why it's illegal. Clearly not very women would interested in living that kind of life style. Great, people that don't want to can choose to not live that life style. But his girl friend’s opinion should have very little bearing on the legality of the practice.

Having been a poor white kid...um, yes. But this has nothing to do with their grandparents. It has to do with what's happening right in our own back yard. I think its comical when you try to suggest that being black in America is the same as being white and only financial situation is a deciding factor. Obama isn’t poor and we still see weekly or daily racist comments coming from the GOP and the right wing organizations that support it.
No one is saying we shouldn't help white kids too. And those measures I'm sure will help African American kids as well. But that's doesn't mean an African American population doesn't need additional support to combat rampant racism large portions of the country. All and all, I'm pretty glad I'm white and I don't have to deal with any it personally.
