This might just be another shot in the dark, but if they were to make a 6th basic land, I would think the most sense would be to make a basic artifact land for esper. thats about it
I think your current list is very good. Only problem I have is the birds, because you have thrasher as a 2 drop.If you have birds out on turn 1 you would rather play the thoctar on turn 3 rather than anything else really. I would rather you play turn one figure, turn 2 thrasher attack for 3, and then turn 3 thoctar. But otherwise awesome list
Why do you think that the floodgates on the spoilers have not yet opened up? The Pre-release is so close by and I'm wondering if its going to be a situation where we are at the pre-release and have to maybe even "take notes" on the cards we see by then.
NUUUU!! I knew people would freak at the rarity. although I believe its a rare not just because of the land tax sort of ability and that its just "plains" not basic, but because of the non-cipt wording. otherwise at uncommon it would be preeeety darn broken
This deck seems stuck between zoo and more big mana feel. Zoo really goes for a quick start and then tries to burn its way home, where as this deck (at least to me) seems to want to have a quick start and then keep the board clear.
I think I would make it more control oriented and worry less about a quick start, and have a finisher with more evasion so maybe like this...
I dropped the warmonk from you list because your basically running four colors for 1 blue card which is a bit much. finks persists after a firespout and gains life, plus is a beast with a shield of the oversoul.
I went with fertile ground over prismatic omen because it also provides you with additional mana, granted fulimantor mage might become played alot more so it might be risky. but overall I think its better then the omen, plus with three colors the mana becomes a lot more solid.
Added oversoul of dusk to work as a finisher. condemn's and o-rings get rid of big threats like demigod of revenge, firespout the weenies, and primal finds a threat and also provides lifegain if you take a lot of damage the first couple of turns.
I really like your list, but in the flavor of zoo I would suggest taking out the grounds and the o-rings for some more creatures and/or burn. very nice list though. please wizards, more zoo cards
since wizards decided to make a new race called the leonaus
