I don´t see why this thread is not healthy. The discussion can be about "What if", "I hope" or "Should not". Everyone is entitled to an opinion, they say.
Personally, the unbans I would like to see are the ones who will shake up the format. Mana Drain first and foremost...

I think Bayous current price is here to stay due to Jund and Team America. I can´t see the price falling any time soon unless Dragons Maze provokes some entirely new deck.

When wizards tell you it will be "very limited", what does that tell you? NOTHING, because we don't know how much product are actually being printed, and WotC wil never tell us. It is not as simple as suppy vs demand.

My only pimping consist in using Alpha or Beta basic lands. Except from that, no pimping whatsoever. Foil card bend over time and some judges at tourneys are not tolerant of them if they "lift" your library. And it is cheaper to just use normal versions.

Can and will are 2 very different things. Hell, the world "could" end tomorrow, or Hasbro "could" fold and MtG would be no more.
But those are illogical fallacies. But hey, if you want to live in a dream world where Unicorns fart gold coins, be my guest.
Logically, to preserve the healthy Legacy format, neither of those cards will come off the list. You can take that quote to the bank.
You said it "won´t come of the ban list". I did not specify could or should, but neither did you.
I suppose this is where we disagree. Certain unbanning would cause great change, but the format is growing stale so I would welcome that. When was the last time some new revolutionary deck was designed anyway?
Last time it was Land Tax, and it did jack to the format. At the next crossroad I would speculate that they would; A. Take a bigger "risk" by unbanning something powerful just as they did when unbanning Time Spiral, which was not the disaster people made it out to be, or B. Do nothing at all and let Abrupt Decay and Shaman dominate.

I actually know a few people who post regularly in the Legacy forum.
Do I know you? No.
However, I don't need to know you to know Legacy as a format. And as a format, the cards you suggested, will not come off the B&R list. Why do you think they're safe, I have no idea. Maybe you have a skewed perception of Legacy. Maybe you just don't understand the actual power of the cards you suggested. Maybe your a troll, I don't know.
What I do know is when I say Mana Drain and SotF won't be coming off the banned list, I'm correct, whether your opinion differs from that view, I don't care.
Stop pretending you are gods gift to magic the gathering. Your opinion is just as valid as anyones.
Never the less, this thread is not about trying to influence the unbanning of certain cards, it is simply a discussion thread. Wether or not you are right, is irrelevant now because no one will know until the day it is suddenly unbanned.
What I do know, when I say Mana Drain and Survival of the Fittest could be taken of the banned list, I´m correct. Wether your opinion differs from that, I don´t care.

Neckbeard? No no, I usually have a full beard. I do trim it though, can't have a wild beard all the time, the ladies don't take to kindly to yeti men.
And how smart does my picture make me look?
And I'm not arrogant, I'm right, there's a difference. Myself and others advocating the same principals know the format better than most of you, tis the reason I can post like this and not be a troll.
Because I'm right. I bolded it for emphasis
Neither Mana Drain nor SotF are safe unbans.
Creatures have only gotten better since SotF has been banned, why do you think it's a safe unban. If you say Graveyard hate is better now, we've had the same kind of hate for years, it's just been put into a different color.
And Mana Drain is just so powerful. Would current decks want to run it? Probably not, but I'd be willing to bet dollars to donuts that a deck gets created to abuse it, kinda the same how Timespiral did.
Light is smart, I see myself as him, therefore I am smart. I have perfect insight, just like him (except you don´t).
I have not seen an argument that makes you undoubtedly "right", and just as I know very little about you, you know very little of me (or any other in here), so don´t think your opinion is worth more than any others in here, because it is not.
I have a deck you might try, it is called Humility.

So you are saying....making a format more accessible in terms of money hence making sure more players join the format...and consequently make players "lose" (hypothetically) a portion of their initial investment would make these people stop playing the game? I am sorry but I actually think you are trolling and whats worse..you are probably a guy that spent x hundreds euros the other day and now goes jelly when others can afford the format for less then you spent. F-A-C-E-P-A-L-M
Gotta make it accessible on equal terms then. Wizards has very little to gain by supporting Legacy. They sold their product a decade ago. They are in the business of making money, and they do that through standard and to a certain degree Modern.
And yes, I do believe there would be a mass exodus of players from Legacy if wizards were to reprint all the valuable Legacy staples. It is not a hypothetical issue at all. Some have saved their cards from when they first started playing, but I believe it is more common to actually buy the cards. It is seen as a rather safe investment and THAT attracts players who prefers to spent a higher one-time fee, rather than to spend a thousand dollars a year just to keep up, and subsequently lose most of what they spend which is always the case in standard.
Fyi, I have never spent a single Euro on Legacy card. Norway is not in the EU and we don´t use Euros.

Dyne, how about you get off your high horse and stop behaving like an arrogant neckbeard on this forum. I doubt you are as smart as your pic are implying.
I know Library of Alexandria is wishful thinking, but I say Mana Drain and Survival of the Fittest would be two good candidates for an unban.

I agree. This set is mostly rubbish. Only high point is I get to stack up on shocklands for my entry into Modern. I have everything I need in Legacy, but I am disappointed that there are nothing that shakes up the format like Deathrite Shaman has done. Legacy has come to a standstill, which makes it a little boring nowadays.

This is my thought as well. Looking to trade my 2 (not in use) Timeshifted Goyfs into the new frame goyf.
