It wouldn't be a complete speculation, I currently run 4 in my G/W standard deck, and I wouldn't mind having a few more for various commander decks. But I could see the price going up if there were a few aggro wedge decks in the next standard season. Does anyone see this dropping down below 10$ before rotation / KTK?
At what price would everyone feel comfortable picking up an addition play set of mana confluence? I know it's future price is dependent on how good the mana in KTK will be, but i'm hesitant on waiting...
The other piece of the Greenolon (i like the name!) hype is looking towards the rotation of RTR. Courser of Kruphix and Eidolon of Blossoms are really the only card advantage engines in Theros block. i think people are trying to find the right shell moving forward.
Speaking of SCG Premium content... Does anyone have BBD's list from his Vs. Video with Brad today? From the comments it seems like he has made some interesting changes to the standard lists.
Frank Lepore ran the deck through a few matches and posted videos here http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=11832 . His thoughts on what direction to take the build seem a little suspect, but its free content...
I'm interested in what Eidolon of countless battles can bring to the deck. Ramon, maybe you have some thoughts from your list? Anyway, I started messing around with the idea of melding the token heavy list with the "creature count matters" of Eidolon and the voice elemental token. I'm not sure I want to go all the way by including Trostani, selesnya's voice but i am testing two fringe playable cards that can jump our creature count. Scion of Vitu-Ghazi is a 3 for 1 (hopefully we hit a wurm or elemental token), and fated intervention is a 2 for 1 at instant speed or scry 2.
I'm running the exact 60 as Wrduardo. On game day I went 3-2 and made it into top 8 because my 2 losses came to 1st and 3rd place, both of whom were running a tuned Esper Midrange list.
I don't think it's smart to just increase the numbers of the reactive SB cards like glare of heresy and last breath. But, to be honest i'm a little stumped. any thoughts?
Forgotten One hit the two I would add. I would also mention a few that can work even if you never draw Borborygmos Enraged.
- Journey of Discovery Entwine gives you flexibility. get two lands in hand, or dump extra lands into play.
- Yavimaya Elder Just a good value creature in general.
- Praetor's counsel Pretty straight forward...
Jeleva's been surprisingly successful so far, to the point where I can see a bit of a frown on my buds' faces when I choose it, which wasn't actually expected as I haven't invested a lot in the deck... she just much works better than she looks at first glance.
I'm pretty sure I know that frown. My casual group has been together for years, and we finally made the leap to Commander. The guy who runs Jeleva gets a lot of hate (mostly verbal), and I think it has to do with the group not being comfortable with a singleton format. If your group has a lot of commander experience I think Jeleva is great. If there are newer players I would consider a different commander.
Working on a U/B aggro/tempo list right now. The format should slow down even more after BOTG so Duskmantle Seer might actually be good. And with the addition of Pain seer, the draw power will be consistent enough to warrant abuse via scry. This is a list I'm working on:
While the curve on this deck is very low it has extremely resilient cards, and a TON of great interactions. The plethora of scry effects help us to pick-and-choose our Pain Seer and Duskmantle Seer's draw effects. With the human sub-theme we have access to Xathrid Necromancer if we want (though he's not necessary, we could always run Mogis's Marauders instead to add some extra reach). Rapid Hybridization has the extra use of turning off our Duskmantle Seer if we need it to, or making our pain seer a 3/3 that doesn't kill us (these are very niche interactions, but sometimes it will save you, which is nice).
We also still get to wait and see if Phenax is any good. Hopefully he'll be spoiled tonight/tomorrow, woo!
I'd love some input on this decklist, it's a very rough sketch, but I think it has some serious potential.
I think it will be tough to run duskmantle seer and thassa in a mainly black aggro package. I would look at the early Blue drops instead of cackler and tormented hero. If you focused on an evasion / flying build with raptor and judges familiar you could activate thassa without having to rely on more expensive blue permanents like jace, bident, and domestication. Best of luck with your build. I really miss playing BUG aggro with the Seer at the top of the curve.
I promised myself I would keep playing G/ aggro until Temple of Plenty was available. I'm really getting disappointed with the High CMC of all the Green creatures so far, and karametra is not the direction i was hoping the deck would take... So far unravel the Aether is the only non land card that is likely to make it in the 75.

Anyone else have a difficult time with this match up? Precinct Captain is the biggest hurdle in the early game. If I can't get enough early pressure I roll over to Blood Baron of vizkopa and Obzedat, Ghost Council.
