Hmm, interesting, it looks similar to my list, except he went with a 2-2 split of RR/thoughtseize as opposed to only one. I also disagree with the dragon since it seems inferior to thundermaw, which was only run as a 2 of most of the time.
EDIT: also noticed that he didn't choose to run abrupt decay in his 75, which I also find a little questionable, but I guess this is just a test list.
Dragon is a great finisher I've been testing him as a 4 of and I'm always happy to see him. Monstrosity is very achievable with this deck.

I really like Anger of the Gods it just really sucks wiping out a few caryatids but sometimes its necessary when facing down a giant board.
I'm tempted to play Thoughtseize but the deck already punishes you for playing 12 shocklands as well as 3 Read the Bones. Not having Thragtusk or Huntmaster makes 20 life seem like nothing. Duress and Rakdos's Return will do for now.
Dragon is a house almost every time you play him. His monstrosity is relevant. Polukranos seems average, his montrosity cost is a little rough. I would like to play something else in the 4 drop slot maybe Desecration Demon but I've never really been a fan of the card and there aren't many other options.
The Primeval Bounty could possibly be a 25th land or another kill spell. The planeswalkers feel at home in this deck.

Last standard season I played naya pod and really enjoyed it. Currently I'm trying to get into the modern scene with a melira pod deck. I have a rough shell and would like some input!
I understand that the budget is a bit higher on my deck as I'm using a lot of my standard manabase but I feel like this list fits better in the budget thread than the official melira pod thread.

Here's Owen's current list and I like pretty much every card. I think the numbers feel right and it has been testing quite well. Reanimator is still a hard match up for me though. I don't know how Owen can say he would prefer to face reanimator over other decks. Slimes just destroy me and Ground Seals are usually decayed or slimed.
I've raced aetherling in the late game with a fatty olivia. Otherwise its a huge pain to deal with.
Also has anyone considered running pillar of flame main over maybe tragic slips or something to deal with VoR? Kinda sucks having to main phase all our removal when VoR is on the board.

I bought a pack of KMC Mat sleeves and I gotta say they are much better than my Dragon Shields. They are thick and feel very durable, non shiny back, and shuffle nicely. I also tried a pack of Ultrapro matte black sleeves and split about 5 on the first shuffle.

I'm unsure on whether I want strangleroot geist in place of wolfir avenger or not. The only problem I have with geist is he can't be cast off of emissary.

Hello folks. I've been piloting Jund midrange as of late but due to the resurgence of Junk reanimator I'm a bit wary. From what I've seen we have a poor matchup as they tend to play the unfair game or just go over us. What can we as jund players do to combat this deck?
Personally I've been playing two ground seals main and have a pair of deathrite shamans and appetite for brains in the sideboard. While their deck does use their graveyard for shenanigans, I still run into the issue of them going big and landing a looping angel or hoofing if the gy is shut off.
I'm looking for insight from other players with more experience in the matchup as I've only played it a few times. My lgs has reanimator running around left and right and I don't know if I should put jund midrange on the backburner for the time being.
