So I noticed that there are two monarch cards legal in pauper because they are common in the treasure chest.
This raises some question
1. Is there a list of other cards that got downgraded?
2. If these cards ever stop appearing in the chests, will they no longer become pauper legal?
3. When does Wizards rotate cards in and out of the chests?

They already do print a couple of extra cards in those that are standard legal because they're in the intropacks/planeswalker dual decks but aren't featured in any of the boosters.
They could expand on those to include more non-set cards to get them standard legal if they want.
What are some examples of that? I don't recall any cards being in standard in the past few years that didn't come from a booster type set

The thing about Augur over Seagate is that Seagate can grab lands
I think UB and UR control is going to try him but I think seagate will be better in the long run.
I think Augur shines best as a 1 or 2 of in a Kiln fiend or U/x delver deck. As a chump blocker that can dig into key peices / gas

I opened those 8 chests and I got 2 booster packs and some crap rares.
I assume it's impossible to grind pauper now to accumulate tickets/pp?

I'm pretty sure its playable. If you attack online with it twice thats 8 damage for 2 mana. At it's worst it's going to eat a creautre or a card.

Have permission from two mods to make this thread, since enemy fastlands is a big enough deal to warrent it's own discussion thread.
How do these cards affect existing/nonexisting decks in modern? I like what it does in UR delver since you will no longer get the double sulfur falls 5 spells hand. Also I guess the green black one is a pretty big deal for the G/B/x decks.

I just need something to prevent me from decking myself. I'm playing a control deck. I guess I could use curse of the bloody tome to make sure my opponent gets deck first, but the thing I like about elixir is that it can gain me life, and has more utility than just a mere win condition.

I really want an elixar of immortality or learn from the past type of card but I'm not sure if one exists at common.

Me personally because I bring an anti aggro deck and smash 50% of the field playing rdw in the first few weeks of rotation.

Whenever Warpath Ghoul attacks the defending player may search his or her library for a card, shuffle their library then put that card on top of it. Prayed or not, here I come

If a spell or ability would cause you to exile essence of the gate from your graveyard instead put it onto the battlefield.

Would "You or target creature gain protection from the chosen color until end of turn" work?
