The above suggestions are all awesome. Lagavulin is an Islay Scotch like Laphroaig that I find to be more balanced in flavor. It runs a bit higher in price though.
I've found that toothpicks were (and still are) a great way to partially satisfy the craving to have something in your mouth and in your fingers. I know that sounded raunchy.
If you're really looking to splurge, I'd go with an LS3 crate motor for starters. Rebuild the bottom end with forged internals and so you can slap on an aggressive heads/cam package. Next comes the twin turbo set up. Lingenfelter makes a decent tt kit for the LS3. My ballpark estimate is that you'd get ~700 hp to the wheels with this set up.
Converting the car to RWD would obviously be awesome but would require significant modifications to the engine mounts and the subframe, not to mention a custom drive shaft.
Since we're now into RWD territory, I'd recommend a ford 9" rear end to handle the torque, as well as probably some 4.10 gears. You'll definitely need some significant suspension mods (subframe connectors, sway bars, panhard bar, torque arm, etc...) and maybe even a full cage to protect the frame from flexing too much if you're driving hard.
That's what I would do anyway.
What year corvette did you get? I just bought a 2002 Camaro SS which I LOVE.
It's just a phase that she'll grow out of...and how is this worse than 15 year old girls coming to school with with shortshort miniskirts and spaghetti strap tank tops?
Maybe it's because the miniskirt/tank top phenomenon is an everyday occurrence and we've become desensitized...while the anime doll look is new and shocking.
I've been waiting for someone to do a fallacious response to this thread by using Point to Point but nobody has done it yet so I will attempt that now.
I was waiting for this as well. Thanks for proving how incoherent it usually is.
I completely agree with the OP here. The "point to point" method is especially bad when someone uses it to counter an "argument to argument" post. If someone posts a small wall of text with an obvious thesis, you should be responding to the thesis, not finding ways to misinterpret EVERY SINGLE sentence in their post.
You're being way too dramatic and defensive and I really don't see what point you're even still trying to argue.
Are you looking for a pat on the back? A cookie? A hug? Like you said, this thread has unanimously decided that you seem to be the bigger problem here so I don't see why you continue to be so stubborn.
If this is any indication of how you deal with realistic criticism at your LGS, then I'm sure your fellow players there would not miss you at all.
It just reinforces my belief (and knowledge from personal experience), that prescription pain pills can have a substantial "reverse alchemy" effect on anyone.
I remember watching the 1998 NFL draft, and after seeing Leaf's name pop up in the headlines from time to time for reasons like this, I can't say that I'm surprised.
It certainly is a cautionary and DISCRETIONARY tale for life.
You'd think that, but then you take a look at the staggering number of highly intelligent people who fall for con artists of all kinds. Falling into a trap doesn't mean you're "dumb." It just means you weren't prepared for the eventuality that led you there, and no one can be prepared for everything at every moment.
So Teia, could you fall for one of these con artists as well?
Maybe. Maybe she's an alien invasion scout from the Greblakian Collective and they're pissed that Miss Universe isn't, you know, universal. Care to provide some basis for that speculation?
Some people just want their 30 seconds of fame. It is only a speculation yes, and one that I only threw out there as some food for thought.
Heck, even taking into account that you're right, isn't "I'm a woman trapped in a man's body!" kind of old hat if she's trying to get onto the talk show circuit?
The media attention that has been brought to her situation tells me no. I really just hope that she's responsible with her moment in the spotlight and doesn't resort to selfish self-promotion when she could potentially make a few leaps and strides for trans acceptance.

Just stop playing the game OP if it causes you so much distress.

Why is it unnecessary? I'm curious to see if she even lives up to her claims.

Goes without saying .
