He is definitely my fav spoiled so far and will be going to my RUG deck, but not as a 4 of. There are too many cards that are good in the deck and since I already run 2 GSZ I will most likely be running only 2 in my deck. Who knows though things may change as we see new cards come out.
I love this deck idea and also the other Zenith decks, but as to this one it is definitely my favorite. I do have a question about counter spells...if you do not choose to use the 4 leaks in the md, what should be substituted? I do plan on using flashes in the sb for certain match ups, but have not had a need for the leaks g1.
While I did not get a lot of feedback I did get some so here is how the deck did. I went 4-2-1 with the 2 losses to vamp decks and the draw against a vamp variant deck. All other decks were fast wins with little or no troubles. In between rounds I played a bunch more games and it held true that vamps gave me the most trouble. Considering the populatity of vamps in my meta I either have to build a better sideboard or a new deck compleatly. Oh I also came in 4th with 2 vamp decks ind 2nd and 3rd and my brother in first with U/W. But then he can usually beat everyone with 59 mountains and a stick so I new he would win.
I want to put together a Hand of thr Praetor deck that takes advantage of some of the lesser casting cost infect critters and some proliferate from blue. With a hint of counters to slow down opponents. I'm not the greatest deck builder so I was looking for ideas on the best way to make this work while still staying within my original concept. Any help from you guys would be great. With enough ideas I can try the deck out tonight and post some results so it can get better.
Thank you for the info about trinket tools, that doesn't answer my origanal question. So I will ask again...
Should I run a W/u splashing just for trinky, a W/U with counter to go with trinky, or a W/G/u splashing blue only for trinky and runny ramp with green? Any suggetions and why?
There may not be a lot of great <1CMC card for a toolbox but there are some and then some nice possibles. I want to work on it with some fetch from graveyard added in. It may never be a top deck, but then again when the next set roles out a card may appear that pulls it all together.
For now I want to test it out and see my Options. So any feedback on the origanal question would be great.
Ok, now before anyone comments on there already being a thread on this, my thread is a little differant. I want to build a deck based on using trinket mage and his toolbox in combo with the white titan. Now my real delemma is this do I go mostly white with a splash of blue just for the mage. Do I go half and half and run counters. Or do I go white/green with splash blue so I can run some ramp. I want the white deffinatly because I like some of the options that go that way.
Wow...I was just looking at my cards this morning before work and said how can I use Silence in the best possible way and I think you may have stumbled on it. Great job.
I am currantly working on a deck that uses the landfall mechanic and I was looking for everyones input on the better cards to use. The deck I am building is G/u and I don't mind splashing a bit. Any suggestions would be great.
I don't see any good reasom for G Well at all. It doesn't work with stormtide as far as I can see so why have it. You would be better served with a blocker for the fliers.
Basilisk Collar is definitely good in that it is cheep to cast still rather cheep to equip and has decent abilities, but not too many right now can say the same, right? As far as I can tell if you can't get an equipment out fast and then equip it just as fast it is probably too late to make a difference.
I was thinking about equipment, which i rarely do, and wondering about whether Sword of Vengeance was even worth it. What about any of the other equipment in standard. are any of them good enough to be included in decks. I don't usually think about equipment that much so I'm no great judge of there usefulness.
I have been working on a deck that uses Primeval Titan and Roil Elemental together and it works really well so far, but i haven't faced any top decks as of yet(at least none played at all well) and I would like some suggestions on some other cards that would help out.
Just a side note for anyone wanting to suggest a card, I am currently only looking at cards from the Zendikar block and from M11, for a few reasons of my own.
Now before anyone says anything about the cards that should be in there, I am only using cards from M11 and the Zendikar block, so please do not suggest anything else.
The land is not set in stone at all(just kinda thrown in there till I work it out) and Clone is more of a filler(although it has come in handy during testing).
This works very good with the testing, but as of yet I have not been able to go against top deck builds. Some suggestions would be nice.
I have beenplaying magic onand off since the dawn of the game and been reading the forums on MTGSalvation for a few years but I never really posted anything. That being said I am not sure where to find the thread that tells how to do deck tags, card tags and the like when making posts. I haveblooked but no such luck. Can someone direct me to the thread. Thank you.
