I'd cut parapet and put in 4 Journey to Nowhere. Parapet just doesn't do enough, I think.

Has anyone considered Commune with the Gods in this deck? Seems like it might work decently.

Edit: Oh, wait. Just read the card again. Cards being put into the graveyard might not be what we want here. Oh well, might test it out when I log in next.

Vitality Charm works for that.

In my opinion, you're really hurting yourself by not playing Delver. It's one of the best, if not the best, creatures for the 1 mana slot. You also don't NEED to play Brainstorm with Delver, in fact most lists I've seen don't run brainstorm at all.

Should you start playing Dailies?
Yes. They're a good way to get practice in a better yourself as a player. Don't get me wrong, you should know your deck inside and out eventually, but I really don't see a problem possibly losing a few dailies in order to learn.

Hell, I went in completely blind in the first daily I ran and went 3-1. I know it's not a grand achievement but hey, money is money. So, if you've got six bucks to spare and about three to four hours to kill, jump in a daily. If you win, congrats! If you lose, just remember what you did wrong and what you should do next time.

I feel like fissure will more than likely be banned in the near future, but if they do that I sincerely hope they unban Empty the Warrens. Getting rid of fissure takes away all combo decks from the format and that kind of bothers me.

This deck looks awesome. But like others, I'm not big on the Souleater. I'm going to try it out with War Falcons in that slot instead. With all the soldiers you have it might be decent.

Yup, it's from Mirage. I picked them up for .02 tix a piece.

But all of their enchantments are auras. They won't have any enchantments left on the field to pump the Gnarlid.

I think it's a little early to be ranking decks right now. The format JUST started. Give it a few weeks for the meta to figure itself out.

For me it's because the amount of money it takes to build a deck is pretty low (Like RW Humans back in single set block) it also gives you a chance to play with cards you wouldn't dream of playing with in Standard.

Didn't realize it before, but yeah, Guard Duty is a great answer to a turn one guy. There's no free answer to it in infect.

No, it doesn't. Been playing this deck for a long while now and I can say with certainty, it doesn't happen consistently. It's just easier to remember the times you lose like that.

In my opinion those really aren't the same, but I see what you're saying. The difference here is my free spell has no drawback if answered except at worst I get 2 for 1'ed. If I answer any of those spells (minus the creatures you listed) they're set back on mana which lets me play out my turn all footloose and fancy free.

However, I fully admit that I could be totally off base here.

Infect player here, just figured I'd put in my two cents:

Contrary to popular belief, I don't get turn two kills often. Or Turn 3 for that matter. I don't believe the deck is broken to the point where it can't be beaten, however, I'm not really against a banning of invigorate. I mean, yeah, I lose my best card but honestly I don't see Wizards making free cards that benefit other decks so amazingly.

Just figured I'd say my piece and try to show an infect guy that isn't against getting gimped a bit.
