As cool as it would be, they killed the Sliver Queen off during the Rathi planar overlay when her hive materialized on Dominaria inside a volcano. Doesn't mean that the Sliver Legion has stopped evolving. Same for the Sliver Overlord. But it's just wishful thinking. It will never happen.

I've loved slivers since I first picked up their Tempest theme deck back in the day. I'm not going to ***** and moan like some of the posters here because I am just going to enjoy these new slivers for what they are, a fun way to make my friends rage-quit our games!

When the new card frames were introduced, I loved them, but as I've gotten older, I miss the old frames. It would be sweet if they started using the color-shifted frames more often.

Yeah, I remember when my friends and I started playing during Unlimited era, and we couldn't trade off the dual lands we opened fast enough. I remember I traded an Underground Sea for a Shivan Dragon, and I thought I had swindled the motherloving spit out of that guy.
I still regret being a dumb 4th grader when Magic came out.
Daaaaaaaaaw! You made me feel so frakking old with that last sentence! I was trading away my duals in high school.

I can't time travel on my own, but I am not affected by the ravages of traveling through time, whether it be through a temporal aperture or through a time rift. Venser can't really do much on his own without messing things up, so having him travel is probably a bad idea...unless he has his TARDIS, but that is for another forum.

The way I'm going to do it is to use the checklist as proxies in my deck, and keep the actual transformers in a clear sleeve in my deck box and only swap the transformer in when I actually play it. Piece of cake.

This is going to sound really dumb, but can you explain exactlyhow this would work?
The checklist card is basically a WOTC approved proxy for any transforming card you pull. You will play the checklist, with the appropriate name checked, as a proxy in your deck. The transforming card can be kept out of view in your deckbox, only making an appearance when played (or if your deck is being reviewed for some reason.

Transforming is neither difficult nor confusing. I'm starting to think that the only ones who will have difficulty with this are the mouth breathers, or the MTG players who only know how to "turn creatures sideways". As soon as I saw the checklist card, I knew how I was going to use it.

Dude, quit crying. The checklist is not so complicated. All it is, is a proxy for your transforming card. All you have to do is put the checklist/proxy in the sleeve that is meant for your transformer. That's all. Quit trying to make it so difficult.
its really odd and over complex or too many players. this is bad bad.
Have you considered that maybe it's just that you're not really that smart when it comes to MTG? So somebody moved your cheese, get over it.

Just one question to those who believe that we will get a BG Garruk: what about the manabase? After zendikar rotates we don't have a way to have both black and green consitently.
What if they were to reprint the Tainted cycle of lands? Tainted Wood anybody?

WOTC though of this. There will more than likely be more checklist cards than actual transformers.
