It’s like the universe screams in your face, “Do you know what I am? How grand I am? How old I am? Can you even comprehend what I am? What are you, compared to me?” And when you know enough science, you can just smile up at the universe and reply, “Dude, I am you.”
So basically, all it takes to make Cascade fair is to have the trigger happen on dying, rather than etb.
Initially, I didn't notice that it said 'died' and almost posted. "This is Cascade. It might not say it, but this is a colorless Bloodbraid Elf. Wizards have officially lost their minds."
This will absolutely see play. This guy and Krallenhorde Howler are gonna be the bestest of friends, I have no doubt.

I'm putting my money on Naya Ajani and Dimir Tezzeret. Part of me quite wants an Esper Tezz, but frankly very little of what Tezzeret is doing is white in flavor. Also, having the villain of the set be white and share a color with one of the other planeswalkers opposing him would be a tad contradictory.

First off, use deck and card tags for this kind of post. Second, you haven't so much posted a deck as much as a list of cards, and then asked people to provide YOU with lists. Third, the cards you've given are, as far as I can tell, not a deck or really even a combo. And it's certainly not 'competitive' as far as I can tell anyway.
Actually come up with a decklist and then come back to this. As it stands, you're basically asking people to make you a deck.

No, I don't think that at all, and I think most of your comparisons are pretty flawed. Wingmate Roc turns your attackers into a lifegain engine. Clever Impersonator is one of the most insane cards to be printed my wotc in a while. Icy Blast can be cast for less than 4 mana, and targets one more at the cost of Sudden Storm.
The biggest issue I see with your point, and this happens with every single set, is that only a third of the set has been revealed. There's literally twice as many cards as have been released to see. The question 'Do the cards from this set feel bumped up in rarity?' is a moot point, because we have not seen the whole set. Let them release the whole thing and then we can comment on the power level.

Deck I've recently put together for an upcoming event this weekend. I definitely think it has potential, but wanted to see if anyone had any insight as to if it needs improvement in any department.
Mainboard choices:
Creatures-
Sylvan Caryatid: Obvious manafixing/ramping powerhouse. Resists removal and hinders hyper aggressive creature decks. (Mono Red esp.) Loxodon Smiter: Cheap, effective body, uncounterable, resists Thoughtseize. Fleecemane Lion: Cheap, effective body, laughs at U/W control if they can't stop it going Monstrous. Draws early removal. Fanatic of Xenagos: Beginning to see a pattern here. Almost always ends up as a 4/4 for 3, and if they don't pay tribute, hits them early on. Trample is invaluable with this. Brimaz, King of Oreskos: Possibly the cheapest, most effective body amongst them. Vigilance and token production synergize well with almost every aspect of the deck that isn't a creature. Archetype of Courage: Makes every other creature in the deck better and, frankly, terrifying. Would run 3 if I had room. Cut a Banishing Light, maybe?
Enchantments:
Gruul War Chant: Gonna address this choice right up front. Always maintained that this was a great card. I stand by that judgment. This takes an average board that your opponent THINKS they can cope with and turns it into a warhammer of pain and devastation. This card handily out-aggros most if not all blocker setups. Banishing Light: Excellent removal for anything that happens to be bothersome, barring Stormbreath Dragon. Shuts down Desecration Demon, planeswalkers, frees your stuff from Detention Spheres. So versatile. Madcap Skills: Value and then some. Turns any creature in the deck except Sylvan Caryatid into an absurdly effective clock. On Brimaz, it's insane.
Planeswalkers:
Ajani, Mentor of Heroes: Just a one-of, but still very, very good late game. If you can get him out turn 4, he can put you well beyond the grips of defeat either by pumping your board, or by digging for answers. A bit bulky, but still, only one.
Xenagos, the Reveler: This is the guy you play after your opponent has wasted all their counterspells and D-Spheres on your other guys. One of the best token engines in Standard. The ramp effect is also highly useful when it comes to just dumping 3-drops, or Monstrous-ing Cats. He just does work.
Instants:
Boros Charm: Probably the most powerful charm next to Azorius in Standard. Beats face, helps other things beat face, and saves your guys so they can continue to beat face unhindered. So amazingly good.
Selesnya Charm: Also good, if a bit less so. Gives trample to punch through pesky blockers, Exiles big dudes, and, in a pinch, makes a body to put a Madcap Skills on.
Sideboard:
Nyx-Fleece Ram: Shuts down aggressive creature decks like gangbusters. Laughs at Pack Rat, Ash Zealot and Boros Reckoner, among others. Mistcutter Hydra: Control's worst nightmare. Uncounterable, untargetable by an overwhelming majority of their answers, and haste puts them on the clock so fast their heads spin. Mizzium Mortars: Rememeber how Banishing Light doesn't do a thing against Stormbreath? Yeah, this is here for that reason. Also, great in the mirror match against other big creature decks. Rootborn Defenses: In this day and age, creatures need to be protected against boardwipes. Boros Charm can only do so much. Spirit of the Labyrinth: Stops Sphinx's Revelation dead. Good body. Considering replacing. Fiendslayer Paladin: Toying with this replacing Spirit. Does much of what Nyx-Fleece does now, but in a much more offensive way.
So that's the deck. I'm hoping I don't get decimated round one, but we'll see. Please give me any comments that you care to, anything helps.

So basically if they search for a board wipe, this is a white Demonic Tutor? Seems a tad too powerful. I like the concept though, just seems a bit out of white's color pie.
Guardian Windfish2WU
(U)
Creature - Faerie Leviathan
Flying, lifelink
When Guardian Windfish dies, you gain 4 life.
Windfish have been known to die in flight. The crash sites attract fishermen from far and wide.
It’s like the universe screams in your face, “Do you know what I am? How grand I am? How old I am? Can you even comprehend what I am? What are you, compared to me?” And when you know enough science, you can just smile up at the universe and reply, “Dude, I am you.”
The problem with the deck is that it has no real win condition beyond the gimmick. Okay, let's say you get the combo off game one, good on you. Game two, your opponent is going to side in Pithing Needle and poop all over your dreams in a way that would make a pigeon blush.
Control will boardwipe you or simply counter any relevant piece to the combo, leaving you with a bunch of offensively inept 2-drops.
Mono-black will simply kill you within the five turns you're digging for your combo pieces, Fog or no, and will kill the creature pieces once you get the Ire on board.
And any midrange deck worth its salt will outpace you and be more consistent because, generally, they have a hell of a lot more combat tricks than you do.
The deck is too flimsy and needs to be broadened. It's too greedy as is.

I would recommend finding a place for Spiteful Returned. Definitely fits an aggro deck descriptor more than the Coinsmith. Not sure why Godless Shrine isn't in the mana base.

Biggest issue I see is, really, lack of win conditions. Yeah, you've got the best mill sources, Ashiok, Jace, Grind, all that good stuff, but you have them at 6 total, and I can very easily see you going an entire game without drawing one of them. I like mill, but I just don't think it can work right now, or if it can, not in this form.

My deck as of yet for the past month or so. Performance has been somewhat erratic, but just from playing I believe the synergy is sound. There's definitely something here, but I feel like I may be muddling it in some way, not going too far in one direction or another.
Master Biomancer + TwinflameOh my goodness is this powerful if you can target two creatures. Or even if you just have Madcap Skills on the Biomancer. Turn 3/4 Biomancer, turn 4/5 Madcap Skills, Twinflame, swing 12 at least.
And so on. Biomancer is the main source of power and synergy in the deck, hence the title. I want to know what I can do to make this deck more focused, or more consistent. If you've got advice as to a pattern of strategy I'm missing, I'd love to hear it. Also, planning on swapping out Blustersquall for something in the sideboard, but I know not what.

The biggest issue I see here is the curve. You go from 2-drops to 4-5 drops with alarming swiftness. I can see you getting a high number of dead hands loaded down with giant cost stuff.
