I would hesitate to make substantial claims about the characteristics of an entire (large) expansion when you've not yet seen even 20% of it. I'm fairly certain within the more than 200 cards we haven't seen yet, there will be some that are less aggressive.
Toss an Elvish Mystic into the mix with this and either a Bubbling Cauldron or Elixir of Immortality and you can have a pretty healthy wurm turn 3 I suppose in limited...
I've recently returned to playing Magic after an extended break (14 years or so). Played in a local tourney with a borrowed deck to kill an afternoon and had a blast, so back into the game I come. For the past several years, I'd been playing another game (L5R), but well, it's a heck of a lot easier on any given day to find a pickup game of Magic.
Anyways, I look forward to interacting with the fine folks around here rather than just lurking in the shadows, as I've been doing the past few weeks. I also look forward to receiving some advice on decks, and who knows, maybe I'll try and dip my toes in the trading waters also.
