As other have mentioned, there are a lot of places around the metro area. If you live around campus, The Source, Mead Hall Games or Universe Games are probably the most accessible (transportation) places. I usually go to The Source but I've been to Mead Hall Games and it's a nice place.
I think there was some sort of MtG Club at the university but I have no idea how well organized it is. A friend tried to contact them once but never got any replies.
I think that this way keeps the game "fresher". I remember Shadowmoor and Eventide, those two had a lot of card cycles that, in my opinion, the sets became boring and repetitive.
Favorite Playstyle: Anything but combo.
How Competitive: Mtgo. I play with paper decks most of the time but I want to see how other decks work. I think Mtgo can help me get a better grasp of the format.
Favorite Cards/Colors: it doesn't matter as long as it's not a combo deck.
Budget: As low as possible, I could do at most $50 right now. Staples Owned: Nothing of value.
So basically I want to learn how popular decks work. I don't need a deck that will 4-0 every event just something that will not get steamrolled in every match.
Okay, I have to ask. Why are so many Delver builds running Thought Scour
Drawing 1 for 1 is okay and at instant speed, good, but I'm more curious about the mill 2.
Do we do this to get instants and sorceries in our yard to fuel Runechanter's Pike or do we actually use it as a mill against opponent? I can see both uses but curious as to why this card is seeing so much play.
It can also give you more options for Snapcaster Mage. Sometimes after an opponent Ponders with a Delver of Secrets in play it's nice to use the mill ability on him/her.
I play at the source in falcon heights. People there tend to be nice. You will find decks of every level on FNM. Also for FNM everyone gets a pack for playing so in a way, you never feel like you 'wasted' your whole night.
Don't buy boosters just to open them, that's just like throwing money away. What you could do is play on 4-booster sealed queues, that way you have a chance of winning more boosters and you still keep all your cards.
If you do that you could get M12 and Inninstrad boosters. Also don't buy boosters from the store, it's better to buy tickets and then buy boosters from bots since you can save some money in the long run.
I usually have from 2 to 4 players. In a good day I can get 6, so I don't need to support more than 8 players.
White:
Aggro color, with board control support. I would like to include more taxing effects for white.
Blue:
Control color with artifact support. I really like how blue usually plays in general but I think the artifact support could be pushed a little more.
Black:
Aggro color, support for reanimation and control. Something that I've never liked so much about black is that many cards have double black in their mana cost limiting the two or more color support for decks.
Red:
Aggro color, land destruction.. I don't know what to do with red besides smashing everything. That's why I included Wild Ricochet but it has been okay at best, mediocre usually so it's going out.
Green:
Midrange, ramp, tokens. I don't have the budget for green's aggro creatures (ie, Tarmogoyf) so I'm trying to give it a different approach. Some people I cube with like to play tokens so I want to have a token theme for green. I really haven't fully test it so I'm not sure how well it plays.
Lands:
Right now I don't have budget for Fetchlands/Shocklands. Maybe next year I'll get around getting them.

For the rest of this year I don't want to spend more than $100-$150 in improving the cube. Also I think I should get new sleeves so that would be at least $40ish.

I have Soul Sisters in paper so I'm not sure if I want two copies of it.

Con respecto a ll o la y. Para mi suenan iguales en español. Pero en ingles si trato de diferenciarla.

Have fun!

From the analysis I want to include the following cards (I haven't decided what to cut yet):
Budget info:
For the rest of this year I don't want to spend more than $100-$150 in improving the cube. Also I think I should get new sleeves so that would be at least $40ish.
Change log:
None at the moment
