Nim Deathmantle - This is a really excellent piece of equipment! Reanimates your guys all day long.
Illusionist's Bracers - I haven't seen this used in any other Vish Kal lists yet... But it should be! It doubles both of Vish Kal's abilities! You end up with potentially four times more effect per sacrificed creature!

I've decided that it is time to update my signature because the Red/Black deck that inspired it has now been retired...
However, I was very happy with the previous signature you made for me, so I'd like to simply request an updated version, retaining the pale grey border.
I'd like to replace the Warstorm Surge with Vizkopa Guildmage, positioned in the same manner as you did in the "There is only one god" signature that you have displayed in your OP.
I'd also like to request that Rune-Scarred Demon be zoomed out a bit, that the circular feature that is present in the background of Ring of Xathrid be made more visible, and that the Ring art be made to centre precisely.
For a final touch, I'd like the mood and colour at each side of the signature to be cooler and more sombre, but retaining the warmer oranges in the middle around the Ring. Perhaps using the same blue and purple tones at the sides that you used in the "Only one god" signature that I mentioned?
Otherwise, I'd probably keep Deathmantle. So many amazing mini-combos with it. You can always replace the sweepers with others.
Thanks for your advice! You've convinced me to keep Deathmantle. However, I've also decided that I can sacrifice a little aesthetic and flavour for access to the wurm and the zenith because I really do need more tech against my friend who always plays Rith, the Awakener.
On another note, the newly spoiled Orzhov hybrid rare is Immortal Servitude, and it is very intriguing!

The ancient vampire Vish Kal feeds on the wicked, and he judges wickedness by his own personal code of ethics. Those who are exonerated in the eyes of Vish Kal are untouchable, stainless.
But for the guilty he acts as both judge and executioner, personally carrying out the blood sentence for his own verdicts.
The biggest suggestion I have for your deck is this: Why include fetchlands? Their utility as thinners is dubious enough in a 60 card deck. In a 99 card format they do close to nothing! You're probably better off keeping them available for decks that actually need them. (Unless of course you want them in for landfall triggers, but then they're 4 cards out of 99...)
Aside from that, I think you're making a good start!

I'm interested to know if anyone actually uses 10 plane decks as was originally intended for Planechase. For those who are, do you use the pre-constructed planar decks that came from the product, or have you put together a custom ten that suit you best?
Since the printing of forty new options I have been playing with a deck as follows:
Thought I'd share it anyway in case someone cares to submit it on my behalf!
Necromantic Solitude
As long as you control exactly one creature, that creature is indestructible.
A few suggestions I would make,
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed - Creates a really great infinite combo with Vish Kal. Kills all your opponent's creatures dead.
Butcher of Malakir - Another Grave Pact effect, especially one that can be easily reanimated in our colours, is always cool.
Vizkopa Guildmage - This card is really good value when your commander has lifelink. Serious advantage here!
Unburial Rites - Reanimation with flashback. Brilliant.

The current version has: Rune-Scarred Demon, Ring of Xathrid and Warstorm Surge (and will be visible in my Sig for reference until the replacement is made).

I have been trying to make a decision lately about a few list changes and was hoping I could get some opinions on it.
For aesthetic reasons, I don't like to run both Mirran and Phyrexian watermarked cards in the same deck. So I am at a bit of an impasse.
I want to choose between keeping Nim Deathmantle (Mirran), or removing it to allow me to use both Massacre Wurm and Black Sun's Zenith (Phyrexian)
If you had to choose one or the other two, which would it be?
Thanks in advance!

Here it is again so that it can be re-added. Cheers!
Thrun - http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=298263
Feel free to check it out here: Thrun, the Last Troll - Primordial Triumph
I'd certainly recommend Ring of Kalonia, Nim Deathmantle and Vow of Wildness.
These have all been really solid for me.
Any particular reason that this deck fell out of favour for you?
I have one for Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief, and another for Thrun, the Last Troll.
Thanks!
