So I went to one my LGS to do some trades and make a little cash. What do you guys think?
Trade #1
My
Ratchet Bomb
RuneChanter's Pike
for His
StromKirk Noble
Geist Honored Monk
Seemed pretty fair according to SCG prices
Then Trade 2
My
2x Priest of Titania
2x Parallel Lives
Chandra Nalaar
for
his
Jace, Memory Adept
Tree of Redemption
Hex Parasite
Trade 2.5
and
Parallel Lives
Mimic Vat
for
Mikaeus Lunarch
and a few commons/uncommons
Delver of Secrets
and Trade 3
My Mox Opal
Void
Commander Eesha
for
Sacred Foundry
Isolated Chapel
I also Sold
Sale 1
Karn Liberated x 2 for $15.00
WoodFall Primes $7.00
Total of $22, I wish I had got like $3-4 more for this.
and
Sale 2
Solemn Simulacrum
Winding Canyons
$10
Aside from the Karn's being undervalued, I feel I did okay. I wish I had gone by TCGplayers low price for that sell, which would've netted me $3-$4 more.
Uh, Karn Liberated is worth around ~40-50 dollars, so not to be mean or anything...but it seems you've been ripped off for around 80 or so dollars.

Hi I'm Infecter4life and ironically I only play GBx decks.
Not to hijack the thread, but I do have a Mishra's Workshop that was signed by Richard and he crossed out the can only be used for artifact clause. Any idea what thats worth?
Whatever somebody will pay for it. I honestly don't think there is a better answer. It's just far too unique to put a firm price on it. If you are looking to sell it, put it on Ebay with a reserve and see where it goes.

I like the new frame. Collector informat was for instance painfully difficult to read on red cards, now everything is clear and concise.
This is really a welcome change.
My only regret is that the "holostamp" introduces plastic which makes the card a bit less environment-friendly, but it's luckily on a limited portion on the print run.
Now I won't be able to compost all my goddamn mythic rares! THANKS OBAMA.

Went on vacation today, heavy snowfall so I checked flight status and they said it was a-ok. Wake up at 4am and now its cancelled....the vacation was a cruise. Really?

Check starcity. It is 49.99 and most LGS price based on SCG, and even if you are looking at trade value most of that is determined through SCG as well.
No sane person is spending 50.00 to get it from starcity when they can get it for half of that price. Their prices are inflated, and based on what makes them the most profit.
The cold hard truth is the card cost 30-35 dollars, and the deck is twice that. You asked why the deck was just a smidge above the TNN, and the truth is it's not.

I thought the same thing but if that's true than mind seize should be going for at least 80 dollars on average because True-Name Nemesis is worth a big juicy 50 dollar bill on it's own. I don't know if the market is undervaluing it atm or where it's value is going to go really hard to tell
It's worth 30~ cash, not 50.

Hi I'm Infecter4life and ironically I only play GBx decks.
Toys R Us does the same thing for most product, its over-priced. They can charge whatever they want and if you are looking for the best deals retail is almost never the answer.

Hi I'm Infecter4life and ironically I only play GBx decks.
I posted this last night, but it has disappeared (I'm getting quite a few posts disappearing lately for some reason).
I can't see this being worth $180, now or in the future. So in answering the question the thread is asking, my opinion is that I wouldn't hold this card long term myself.
Saw the original post too....very strange.

Disagree completely, she will be reprinted in a core set eventually. She's one of the Lorwyn 5 and you can bet on her being in a core set eventually. Unlike JTMS she can be reprinted without destroying a format. Yes she is amazing, but its inevitable she will be reprinted and multiple times.
I don't know about that, thematically she was very Innistrad. She would be very out of place in a core set.

I was wondering this too however, makes sense something would happen that wasn't expected. Thanks for working to get this issue fixed.
I would return them both, unless the deals were so good now that it would cost you more to return them now.

There is no possible way to know this.
