i want 1000 of these. Favorite Card art in the set. That being said, no clue how useful this will be until we see how many constellation cards are worth playing. 3/4 flyer for 3 is pretty good though, even with the pseudo-drawback.
if only brand or homeward path were in a format to play with her... would negate the 'owner' factor and make for some really interesting combat sequences.
So then... is no one going to talk about the murder king? cause that's my favorite card in the set so far... gonna be a limited house and an extremely fun edh general.
Here's my submission, which i left the cost out of purposefully:
Planar Decay
Enchantment
CARDNAME enters the battlefield tapped.
Whenever a permanent becomes untapped, that permanent's controller loses 1 life.
2BB: Return CARDNAME from your graveyard to the battlefield.
___
Flavorfully: the manifestation of Decomp magic. Mechanically, I figure it's a variation on Mana Barbs or Mesmeric orb, hoses ramp, combo, aggro and control and feels very black while also requiring a lot of commitment from the person that casts it. idk. any feedback would be cool.
The issue is this card states you cast the spell from exile, not from your library.
melek allows you to cast the top card of your library, and the trigger only happens when you cast spells from your hand, unless i misread the card. hence the synergy with melek.
i honestly love the card and would enjoy seeing it as a finisher with some sort of stupid combo cards. obviously it'll never be tier one, but it could still be quite fun to play with. people need to belly ache a lot less...
i actually thoroughly enjoyed the format. played 3 times and 4-0'd or 3-1'd each time. having such a large pool makes things tough but in a fun, challenging way imo. I'd happily play big box as a regular format if they introduced it, especially as a phantom sealed.
i really like it actually. Reminds me of gargoyle castle and tomb of urami in that they turn late game lands into ways to break a stalemate. not necessarily a huge format defining card, but definitely worthwhile in limited or EDH. should be fun. and will look pretty sick in foil
No, I believe Wizards said the distrubution was always exactly one per pack. If you get a foil DFC it replaces the DFC. So two foils are possible, but not two DFCs.
^this. The distribution is incorrect on draftsim but is correct for normal rarities associated with cards, so it seems whomever the programmer is didn't take into account the specific change in question. It'll probably be changed in the next day or two (ideally). With a program like this, it's much more about user feedback then anything else imho, since pick order id determined by actual user picks and changes to the program tend to come from direct feedback.
If a Semblance anvil is set to artifact and the player controlling it casts a Chimeric mass, does the Mass get 2 free counters in addition to whatever else the player pays? could a player pay 0 and still put 2 counters on the mass?
Apologies if this has been answered previously, but in scouring the forum i didn't see a comparative question.)
With necrotic ooze in play and a myr propagator in a GY, does necrotic ooze make copies of itself (I.E. does the ability reflect the creature that copies it) or does it have the exact text of the ability, thus making copy's of propagator? or a third option i haven't acknowledged?
depends on the rules you are using for EDH. many casual groups and EDH leagues allow for RR EDH decks as long as RR and basic lands are the only non-singular cards in the deck...
