Mostly just about dropping Swiftspear and Mantis Rider turning them sideways. Using burns and pumps and try to end it fast. Narset to fire off burns for free when game is winding down. Sideboard is mostly whatever I thought might work.
I like the overall List, but i would run 4 Mantis and 2 Narset. Mantis is just too good to not run 4 of them.
Anyways, there's another post about Jeskai Burn here.
Mono red Burn runs Fetches becuase of Grim Lavamancer and that's Modern/Legacyy Stuff. Fetchland in T2 are almost pointless.
Ontopic: I don't quite Like Paragon of Fierce Defiance I would prefer Hall of Trimuph Searing Blood may not be too good in this format and Chandra is jsut another 4CMC...you are palying Rabble Red which is supposed to win turn 5 not start doing things on turn 4.
Lower you curve. Try Valley Dasher, move these Searing Blood to the SB, cut the Chandra to 1 or none, get a 4 Stoke the Flame, Swiftspear Monastery is another 1 drop which can get bigger using your burn to clear a path.
I think part of the appeal of the artifact version versus the mana dork version is that the dorks cannot win without combo-ing off, whereas the artifact deck can potentially win without the combo.
That "way to win" wtihout going off is...Ensoul Artifact plus something? Then whats the plan on playing a Combo Deck?
I like second win-condition, but you are playing 3 Ensoul Artifact, not even 4. I see this deck lossing because it draw a lot of 0 Artifact that do nothing.
In the other hand, the Aura Version can play it's enchatment to draw a card and dig-deeper soyou can Do what you should do.
Don't know what last 4 sideboard cards will be, but playing the deck so far this deck is insane. The Akroan Hoplites have actually been amazing as psuedo rabblemasters 5+6 in testing and ride down has been really good. I am considering adding the last 2 of them to the sideboard because they do really well to push through rabblemaster damage. I really dislike losing the young pyromancer for this deck though and am considering adding trumpet blast as the other last 2 sideboards.
Now this List makes Sense to me, still Eidolon Of the Great Revel may be bad in this meta...for now; although 2 Seems fine...What about Valley Dasher? With that many "removal" i don't think it can be bad. Is a turn 2 haste. If we can want to cast it as a chump-blocker, we jsut play it post-combat
Isn't jsut 4 Battlefield Forge too low for 2 Ride Down? there's no way to fetch a White Source so it seem pretty hard to cast. Also...8 Fetch? We have no Sinister Lavamancer. I would rather just 4 Fetchs and 4 Temple of Trimuph just to make Ride Down a lot more playable
I've had the problem of revealing Jeskai and Anger both on a single Commune a few times. I'm stuck comboing without a real win condition in that case.[/quote]
If you reveal a Anger and Jeskai Ascecion with a Comunicated, you keep the Anger of course. That's why you play 4 Jeskai. You just dig until found another one.
After reading all of this I can't help but think that Monastery Swiftspear is such a good card that it might be worthwhile to keep the deck RB with a really low curve.
This plus a little burn might be a thing. I know you posted as mardu but white gets you only Soldier of the Pantheon, Mardu Ascendancy and Butcher of the Horde. Soldier potentially has protection from KTK but Sylvan Caryatid still blocks and Courser of Kruphix still stomps a mud hole in his ass. Ascendancy is ok, but it really doesn't do much when you are behind, then agian Butcher might be busted, especially with rabblemaster. I think this deck would be stronger and faster being BR dominant, splashing W.
I don't see the point where the R/B 1-drop will be better than Soldier of Phanteon Facing Caryatid or Kruphix. In fact, playing the R/W version gives you Acces to Ride Down to get trough a Kruphix (Sadly no Caryatid) But the R/w God, Iroas it's more effective than a burn Spell ( in combat at least.)
The reason for Selesnya Aggro to never be a Tier 1 or Staple was because it had a lot of bad matchups with a lot of popular decks like Mono Black and U/W Control. Plus Elspeth was able to stop most of the threat from U/w.
Ontopic: Chossing between Thoughseize and Despise ( Honestly i just spend my money buying Fetchs) but i think is not that for the time being where everyone will be playing aggro or midrange or Junk/d Planeswalker.
I don't know how good or how bad this can be. I've seen a lot of Lige Gain Stuff ( Even lands, but i don't we'll see those in constructed.)
Anyways. we have half of Khans already spoiled and with this, crrazy ideas start to come out like...Sultai Burn.
Most likely RWu Burn.
As always im very bad trying to figure out a good mana base, but i hope
So lee the new tos we have to mess with.
Jeskai Charm: This charm is not even closw to what Boros do...but 3 mana for 4 damage to the face is still not bad. The pump plus Lifelink iS worthless here. The ability to put a creature on top is nice, but i'm not sure we want to do that instead of dealing 4 damage ( unless we're facing a lethal treat.)
Mantis Rider: 3 CMC Haste flying Vigilance...too bad is not as anoying as Chandra's Phoenis, but the Vigilance is a plus to stop a beat down; but more important, it sure help us on the damage race.
Deflection Palm: Prevent damage froma source then we deal the same amount to it's owner face...This is huge...preventing damage from a Giant Genesis Hydra or Polukranos, then return 5+ dmg for 2 mana...i love this card.
Mindwipe: Counterburn? not really sure. I think most of the time this will be for 1-2 ¿Sideboardcard? maybe? or a 1-of.
Jeering Instigator: Morph that when is flipped we gain control of target Creature.. I thnik this going to sideboard too. Being a creature is a plus at least.
Plus we keep some bur spells ( Magma Jet, Lightning StrikeSearin Blood, Eidolon of the great Rebel) Im anxious to see more more common and uncommons. There may appear a good burn spell to push this foward.
Anyways, for now it's just an idea, still not sure on amounts or mana base.
Im planning tu re-build my RWb(g) burn. ( stopped palying it since Shaman got banned.) but now with the Eidolon Burn has a new friendly friend.
Just gotta be sure of the mana base. So i will think about it and then post it. I think 1 Stomping Ground is enough (since you can fetch it) enough to run 2 Destructive Revelry on the SB
Btw, how does everyone feels about Blightning ? i always liked the card, but never seen in constructed play.
I like the overall List, but i would run 4 Mantis and 2 Narset. Mantis is just too good to not run 4 of them.
Anyways, there's another post about Jeskai Burn here.

Maybe you want to to splash White to add Ride Down or Deflection Palm.
Just remmber you need to be fast and effcient.

The artifact version have no card draw ora way to find the Jeskai Asedancy.

I would Totally add trumpet blast to the sideboard Coordinated Assault may be redudant
i also like Seismic Stomp to fill up Sideboard.

So i've playing testing this list ( i found it on reddit > tapped out from NinjaTheNick)
So far everything looks great. 0 problems finding combo pieces and going off by turn 6 is almost sure.
Really looking foward to paly this this seasson for a while.
I don't see the point where the R/B 1-drop will be better than Soldier of Phanteon Facing Caryatid or Kruphix. But my list is still a prototype. I would like to try keranos, but it's out of the curve for now.
Ontopic: Chossing between Thoughseize and Despise ( Honestly i just spend my money buying Fetchs) but i think is not that for the time being where everyone will be playing aggro or midrange or Junk/d Planeswalker.

Im not 100% about mana base, it need more work, but that's the overall idea.
Any thoughts?
