In the most recent Uncharted Realms regarding Sorin travelling to Tarkir to locate Ugin, Sorin mentions Nahiri by name as well in regards to Zendikar. I take this as soft confirmation of Nahiri being the Lithomancer as she has been linked to the Eldrazi/Zendikar story twice now. Once in the Ob Nixilis story and in the most recent Sorin one.
Since the Eldrazi imprisonment happened around 6,000 years ago it is highly unlikely that Nahiri is still alive after the Mending. However, with Fate Reforged likely having a large time travel component (it seems as Sarkhan is going back in time to save Ugin from being killed), that Nahiri could be brought to the present as well.
I hope this is the case and we are getting a showdown with the Eldrazi soon (within 2 years). I dislike when we see villains and it takes a long time for a payoff.
Last year the panel video was uploaded on the Friday after SDCC. With the PT happening this weekend they are likely saving it as a featurette to be played between rounds.
That would be my best guess, otherwise it will show up some time next week.
I think that they are doing a shift for M15 and making Garruk the black Planeswalker for the set. He is clearly still cursed from the Chain Veil and the storyline for DOTP15 is that he has moved on to hunting other Walkers. The imagery is also clearly black.
Add this all to the fact that the bounty card for Pax mentions Chandra, Nissa, Gideon and Jace this would give us the five monocolored walkers for the set.
Nissa - green (likely a new version)
Gideon - white (Possibly a new version but maybe 2.0)
Chandra - red (Pyromaster version to give it a second printing)
Jace - blue (Likely Architect of Thought but possibly a new version. Memory Adept got three printings?)
Garruk - black (brand new version and develops his character even further. Plus he is the face of the set)
Planeswalkers are the glue that holds Magic storylines together and giving us a fresh mix would make things interesting. Plus with the M15 cardface redesign they will want some strong new cards to help sell the set.
My LGS was/is doing preorders of all 5 Commander 2013 decks for $119 +tax for all 5 or you can get the individual decks for MSRP. If I am not allowed to say the name of the store then I apologize. (amazingmtg.com) They are currently out of stock on the set of five but they are adding a few each day.
Luckily they are in the business of moving product rather then sitting on it for a higher profit margin. If you keep your customers happy then they will keep coming back. They know that "Big Box" retailers will have them as well and want to keep the customers in their store. Customers have great memories so if you are good to them then they will continue to patronize.
I ordered a set as I love the format and am looking forward to customizing these decks. I am grateful that my LGS is for the players and in the process in the business to succeed.
I would alert the player that they left their stuff behind. If they didn't hear me than I would turn it over the the judge/TO/Store Owner. Just because they were acting in a way that I wouldn't doesn't then influence me to sink to a lower level.
My morality is not wavered by how others treat me. It is only affected by how I treat others.
Rudeness does not justify stealing/omission/etc.
My theory is that the "Gods" will be Legendary Enchantment Creatures that have Indestructible. This gets around the "easy to kill" problem while still supporting the enchantment theme.
They would be midsized like 3/3 or 4/4 for 4 to 6 mana. Then when you succeed in meeting a threshold such as controlling 4 or more creatures or a certain number of mana symbols among your permanents they would "activate" an additional pump or bonus for your team.
They could also be overcosted fatties with similar abilities.
Does not seem to be official. When you click on tabs on the page they take you to a site called "Good Gamery". Also, its the "Orb of Insight" not "Orb of Incite"
When you register they will not be able to look it up. However, When round 1 pairings go up you will have a B next to your name indicating the Bye. Same will be true for rounds 2/3.
If you purchase a "sleep in special" then they will confirm ahead of time. I had byes at GP San Diego and was concerned as well but it worked out fine.
WotC are never, ever, under any circumstance, going to make a card with a god subtype, type, or supertype. EVER!
I was just using "God" as an example. I don't actually think they would specify God or Deity. They could specify them somehow like they did Eldrazi. Just an idea to throw out there and to think about.
We can all assume that Gods will play a factor somehow based on the preview art and that the second set is called Born of the Gods.
I think Theros will have an enchantment theme but for another reason. If a world worships Gods and the Gods enjoy the adoration they may not make themselves visible to the inhabitants and worshipers in person. they may just make themselves felt by the populace. If it is Greek themed as is rumored then the Gods are all based on an emotion or feeling. Love, fear, harvest, weather, etc.
Because of this the Gods may make themselves felt through some sort of enchantment type effect.
example:
Adoration of Zeus
3RW
Legendary Enchantment - God
If you Control ____ then do ____.
This is just a thought. The Gods would want their favor earned so some condition would be set.
This would be a good way to avoid having the Gods be too similar to the Eldrazi
The way I understand Power and toughness is that it doesn't just reflect the stature of a creature but also the battle prowess of one. So Emmara may just be a human which normally is a 1/1 or a 2/2. But her ability to command beasts of nature gives her some prowess that makes her a 5/7. This combined with her ability to protect all tokens makes her even stronger.
Her skillset is what boosts the P/T above what a normal elf or human would have.
I cannot speak for most sets but Ravnica as a plane is based on Slavic nations. If you look at the original Ravnica block you will notice a more Eastern European feel. Ravnica as a name is even Slavic sounding.
Take a look at Kamigawa block and you will notice the same thing. Alara had 5 distinct flavors and was represented as such. Naya was more Native American based while Bant was more Western European.
The style of the plane has just as much to do with it. If Theros block does have a Greek Gods style theme then we can expect more Mediterranean looking peoples.

Flying Crane Technique is the seeded rare

This fits with making a "tribute" to the Gods.
