Ozyp's decklist is great to fight Bant Company.. No EMN cards but there's no rule that say that we must play with new cards
What do you think of that list?
Hi guys, I've been working with this Naya Tokens list for a couple of days now... Is bassically using the Naya PW list that uses Purphoros, God of the Forge and Scion of Vitu-Ghazi along with a bunch of planeswalkers..
Chord for Scion or even Purphoros is great.. although I was thinking in cutting the Courser of Kruphix's for other "1 off" creatures to give Chord a more practical use..
Ajani Steadfastin this build is just AWESOME.. It pumps our entire team after a Scion, helps Xenagos and Domri to reach Ultimate, and in conbination with Elspeth is just nuts..
The Sideboard is really narrow as I don't have any right thoughts yet.
Thanks for the replys! I think that Hero´s Downfall is really color intensive for this deck.. the Black is just a splash for Abrupt Decay (One of the best and underplayed removals right now) Doom Blade and Ready // Willing... For Elspeth we have Glare of Heresy and the other planeswalkers don't bother us so much. Also, we have a very good MU vs Control decks and mono black decks. The MU vs Mono Blue improved a lot since we have direct answers for Master of Waves right now.
I will keep posting results on this build, but sicerely it works very very good right now in my Meta.
Hello Guys, I need your help with this build.
Few days ago, I came up with this deck to my local Store.. I've been playing GW Aggro for a few months now (Including 2 PTQ's and a GP) and it worked wery well... but I thought to add some removal to that deck splashing even Red or Black. I've tried the Naya Aggro deck from Brad Nelson with bad results and then I came with this Idea:
The card I like most from this build, belive or not, is Ready // Willing. This card is a great meta-call. It protect your creatures from Supreme Verdict in the Control Match-ups, and, it gives you a very versatile "sweeper" effects against creature based decks (Such as Jund Monsters) with the Deathtouch-Lifelink side of the card. It's an awesome combat trick, a usefull card in EVERY matchup.
This deck is 17-2 right now in real life and online..
Please, leave your thoughts about this build. I'm very happy with it and a lot of people is trying it right now.
I think the Caratyd works for accelerate the Mounstrous in the Lion, the Bestow of Boon Satyr and fix our mana in case that we don't have double green or double white for either Witchstalker or Ajani...
Also is a good blocker in the early game.
I removed the Paladins and add another Ajani and another Rootborn. Hence we dont have Call of the Conclave, we use Rootborn just for indestructible and to populate Voice tokens or Advent tokens.
In a metagame full of monoU, monoB and monoR, I am really thinking about play in MB Fieldslayer Paladin, Witchstalker and Sylvan Caryatid. Hexproof is huge.
Witchstalker is perfect vs black devotion removals, RDW shocks and Tidebinder mage. It can only be killed by overload mortars or cyclonic rift.
The paladin is fantastic vs red/black and wins vs many little creatures due to first strike. His lifelink is amazing as well.
Caryatid can be very good vs aggro and is immune vs removals.
I am working around these 3 cards to build up a competitive deck.
Any suggestions would be apreciated.
P.s. sorry for bad english, isn't my main language
That's a nice way to go.. i'm thinking in the same right now.
The main problem now is that because the deck was top Tier going into the new standard format everyone already knows it by play with it and against it.
Now if people DONT play it that will enable players of the deck to innovate and surprise our opponents.
Totally agreed... No much people expect to see any GW deck right now... they are all going to play Devotion Decks and stuff.. I want to prepare against all those decks with my own build and surprise my opponents.
Everybody memorize the lists from the devotion decks.. but they dont now what my deck is playing.. and that is an advantage for me
My plan for the GP is to play GW because:
It's a good deck against Esper
a good deck against Mono Black
a good deck against RDW
a good deck against UW
but it struggles againts Mono Blue... like the other decks as well..
So, I don't mind to pair against one or two MonoU and lose... as long as the other MU are accessibly. I'm with this deck since a while know and I can play it eyes-closed.
I think the Unflinching Courage/Rootborn Defenses/Advent/Boon Satyr is the best way to go. My only doubt is Witchstalker VS Loxodon Smiter... but that will be answered with some testing. Im working with Willy Edel in this.. I will let you know some results this following days.
Against Mono U , Witchstalker is good because it has Hexproof... Not for the Blue/Black spells thing. At least against that deck it runs better than a 4/4 Smiter that's pretty Vanilla against them.
Witchstalker was just awesome against Mono Black Devotion, Esper and Mono Blue and I really recomend it over Smiter. We have to play around Anger of the Gods with it and around Supreme Verdict.
The Unflinching Courage maindeck works very good and the synergy with Witchstalker is awesome. This list is good in a Mono U, Mono B, Esper, meta... I didn't play against any Gruul yet but I think that we are good against them as well.
Try this build and tell me how it goes.. I'm thinking in playing this on the GP.
I was thinking in replace the 3x Loxodon Smiter with 3xWitchstalker . Due to the actual Metagame (Mono U, Mono B, Esper) I think this card could be great against those MU. Also works great with Unflinching Courage and Boon Satyr.
Any Thoughts ?

The creature base is the GW aggro decks base. Soldier of the Pantheon provide you a nice early game vs Control Decks, Voice of Resurgence and Fleecemane Lion are the best 2-drops in this combination.
