100 World Story for the NES is great for a couple of plays. It was only released in Japanese, but a quick googling should turn up the fan translation rom. It's a 1-4 player RPG/board game hybrid with three boards, 100 random events, and a simple Dragon Quest-style battle system.
I played Phantasy Star Online and Phantasy Star Universe extensively, and I am so ready for this game. Anyone curious should check out http://www.youtube.com/phantasystarch for a bunch of videos. It looks gorgeous.
How sad is it that a promo fnm card is much more playable than the pre-release rare
Not at all? FNM promos are generally chosen from cards that have been popular in constructed, whereas prerelease promos are splashy rares which are likely to appeal to casual players. Completely different purposes.
I would expect a core set version of Noble Hierarch to produce W and R, not W and U, similar to the weavers printed in 10th edition. Producing one ally and one enemy color of mana is just so weird outside of the context of Alara block.
It's the director of Brick and The Brothers Bloom, therefore it is extremely improbable that I dislike this film, even if the trailer is a little crappy.
I track cube decks whenever it's convenient to do so, which is most of the time because we generally cube at my place.
I used a Google Docs spreadsheet until I ran out of columns (probably not a worry with Excel, but it's been a long time since I've used MS Office). I've been using a MySql db since then, which has made it much more convenient to get the information I want out of all of that data. The setup isn't terribly portable, though. :/
I have fledgling Let's Play channel of my own. I've completed Legacy of the Wizard and Katamari Damacy, and I'm currently playing Katamari Forever.

Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Myr Battlesphere are both great cube cards that I would like to fit back in at some point.

Would it replace Doom Blade? Wouldn't that be bad for constructed?
Would it be uncommon alongside the common Doom Blade? Wouldn't that be miserable for limited?
