The 'X to all creature' spells really help negate the downside of manaflare... and I've been playing a manaflare dragon deck for 12 years. Plays stompy & fun, without too many blowouts.
So, if I had Furnace of Rath on the field, along with either a Boros Reckoner or Spitemare and made either indestructible, if either takes damage I can have the Boros Reckoner/Spitemare keep targeting itself, the damage doubling each time, until I can throw an arbitrarily huge amount of damage at my opponent?
Everyone who thinks Spark Trooper is going to be a thing... remember the huge amount of playable cards with first strike at the moment. It may be more of a liability than folks are realizing.
Also, Preysiezer Dragon makes Voracious Dragon cry. For 1 more mana, you get the same effect, only you can use any creature instead of just goblins, and you get 2 +1/+1 counters for each one sacrificed instead of 1.
Well, Voracious Dragon does cost 1 less and has a ETB ability, Preysiezer Dragon does nothing if it gets removed before the attack...
Well, not quite. In theory, since both Inkmoth Nexus and Wolfir Silverheart are unpaired, the next time a creature enters the battlefield and Wolfir Silverheart's soulbind ability triggers, you could do the same thing.
Soulbind doesn't make you pair with the creature that just entered the battlefield; you can choose to pair with any unpaired creature. So, you can choose the animated Inkmoth Nexus to pair with, since it is unpaired after it stopped being a creature.
But, in general, no you won't be able to pair with Inkmoth Nexus just by animating it again. Inkmoth Nexus isn't entering the battlefield when it changes characteristics, so that doesn't cause soulbond to trigger. The pairing expired once Inkmoth Nexus stopped being a creature.
Really? I didn't think that's how it works at all!
702.92e A paired creature becomes unpaired if any of the following occur: another player gains control of it or the creature it's paired with; it or the creature it's paired with stops being a creature; or it or the creature it's paired with leaves the battlefield.
So let me confirm this line:
I activate Inkmoth Nexus, turning it into a creature.
It would be slower at putting the tron together (maybe U/G so you could run 4x Tolaria West or something), but you could put 1/3-1/2-all of your deck into play if you got it off.
Eh? Did you mean the other Karn? Not quite sure what you're going for. Liberated doesn't have an ETB effect, but maybe you mean recharging his counters and/or getting to use his -3 twice in one turn?

As Gisela, Blade of Goldnight halves the damage dealt to your creatures, the loop actually diminishes instead of doubles though, correct?
Thanks!
I think this will be a very solid card, but lets not hyperbole too much.

Voracious Dragon is still awful.

There's now no way to re-bind (outside of flickering or the like) inkmoth nexus and wolfir silverheart, as neither are "entering the battlefield.
Is that correct?

Seems fun!
